Remembering my two beloved puppy dogs! So adorable and my perfect companions for fifteen plus years. Here they were, ready to head out for a hike into the wilderness!
Sunsets, blue skies, pretty waters, sailboats, puppy dogs...
No matter what you go through
As long as you are alive, it can happen again...
"It ain't over yet
Ask someone who ought to know
Not so very long ago
We were both hung out to dry
It ain't over yet...
You can mark my Word
Don't care what you think you heard
We're still learning how to Fly ! "

It’s been a while! Here’s my gorgeous (growing) girl Ginger! She’s now 6 months old and so much fun! Sorry it’s been so long! I’m about to sit down with a cuppa and have a catch up! Hope you are all well and staying safe!xx follow Ginger and Arthur on Instagram @arthur_and_gingers_antics
It’s been a hard few weeks for Arthur… long story short we thought it was time for “that conversation” with the vet. However, seems his pain meds have fully kicked in and he’s got a new lease of life…. Instead of tears watching him lame and sore, it’s happy tears seeing him run and play with his friends again. 😊happy Sunday folks xx
sweet potato pie ... she is so delicious.. :)
when lulu moves from her bed to the floor to cool off now, she always leaves her hind paws touching the bed like this..
since she doesn't see well anymore, its an anchor for her ~
then she knows when she awakens just where she is !
she dazzles me..

Der Kameragurt ist immer wieder ein Highlight bei den Hundbabys. An der alten Kamera war er schon ganz zernagt, mal schauen wie lange es bei der neuen geht bis die ersten Biss Spuren zu sehen sind.
One of our grand-dogs, Kimber, who is part Alaskan Husky / Australian Shepherd and loves the outdoors and really loves the snow! We don't get a lot of snow in Tennessee but when she gets the chance, it is hard to get her to come in...

Yorkshire terriers can make great apartment dogs. Although they are bouncy, they’re a small breed, so you can even exercise them indoors if you need to. Caveat: be sure to work on their barking tendencies with good training and socialization, because Yorkies can be noisy.
Well you've seen him upside down a couple of times. Here is what he looks like the right way up.
Happy Furry Friday everyone!
Wishing you all a fabulous weekend
Only two more weeks until my holiday - yipeee!!
True to the Yorkie’s Terrier roots as vermin hunters, this is an active little dog who needs a daily walk for stimulation. Fun and games are always an added bonus. They might look cute–and believe us, they do– but because of their small stature and butter-wouldn’t melt appearance, there’s a risk of your Yorkshire Terrier trying to boss you around. Socialization and training can help, and it’s worth keeping in mind that companion dogs like Yorkies crave your attention most, so they might act up to get it. This might include some unwanted yapping, but with steady training, you’ll raise an affectionate and sweet natured dog.
Our new beagle puppy who is now 5 months old and crazy energetic. She thinks any & everything that comes near our house is worthy of a bark, growl, or both. But she also has a super sweet side that is wonderful...

Their small size and low-allergen coat make them popular apartment dogs. However, Yorkies can also be quite the little watchdogs, meaning they may react to noise. Whether in an apartment or house, Yorkies need environments with plenty of mental stimulation, and benefit from early socialization and training.
Even though Yorkies don’t need much space, they are Terriers, and appreciate moderate exercise. Access to outdoor space for walks and playtime will help keep your Yorkie active. They may be sensitive to cold, so if you live in a chilly climate, they will need a coat.

Dental disease is the most common chronic problem in pets, affecting 80% of all dogs by age two. Unfortunately, your Yorkshire Terrier is more likely than other dogs to have problems with her teeth. Dental disease starts with tartar build-up on the teeth and progresses to infection of the gums and roots of the teeth.

Though they’re only pint-sized pups, Yorkshire terriers have big personalities. According to the American Kennel Club (AKC), feistiness is practically a requirement for the breed. They’re always willing to stand up for themselves, even when they’re the smallest dog in the fight, and their spunky temperament has earned this breed the nickname “the tomboy toy.” Like other terrier dogs, they’re confident and courageous. A Yorkie won’t back down…and that’s one of the reasons we love them.
I love how he's sleeping with his toy!! I didn't pose him at all! I found him like this, that's why I took a pic!

Sure, today they may wear bows in their top knots and their self-important air may make them seem like they have royal roots, but Yorkies have a rather unglamorous background of catching rats and other vermin in underground tunnels. This instinct still comes out in their play (offer a Yorkie a stuffed mouse, and you’ll see what we mean), and owners can put it to work in non-competitive AKC Earthdog tests. This sport allows dogs to test their ability to pursue caged rats underground.
Yorkies are little spitfires who often bond with one person. But, they are also quite friendly and sociable dogs who love to make friends with others, given the opportunity.
