This picture was sent to me by a friend with no ID who made the picture. It’s been around the internet. I used Photoshop to improve the image for Flickr

But what’s really important is not the picture maker but who did the sculpture? This is an amazing work of art. I like how the artist uses minimal carvings on each pumpkin and yet you know exactly what he is trying to say. As an art historian I would rank it with other great sculptures especially those of the modern era. This would make a wonderful addition to any museum. If the artist could be identified I would lovingly place his or her name here.

Every time I look at this I laugh or smile. So that’s the main reason I placed it. Flickr people have a good laugh in these sad economical times.

One is not like the others

An intruder at my window, scrutinizing what seems to be an easy way out of my balcony. Where did he land from I better not guess, i surely brought him back outside.

Daughter's kitten. This is Pumpkin, he had a sore eye when she got him but it's all better now.

This is why I haven’t been on Flickr loving on all y’all’s photos. We were having a contest at work and I was tasked with carving this delicious orange orb. Took me 2 days to lay it out.

Now open to the public! You will find free pumpkins to hunt for, vendors with gifts for all, open rez to take photos, and much more!

October always means pumpkins are in season. This group of pumpkins on a shelf was found during a visit to Hee Haw farms. Lots of fun activities to be found on the farm.

Halloween awaits! The pumpkins have been picked and are awaiting shipment to retail outlets. The lines of potential masks and lanterns were seen on a farm near Midhurst in West Sussex.

I really didn't think I'd get here this year...it really is NO FUN in the rain.....but I decided to make my annual trek anyways. I got lucky and it stopped raining for the half hour I was there.....I am still trying to get the clay-like mud off my boots and my pumpkins!
