52 weeks of 2017 ... silly ...
... This is my neighbourdog Pumba, he's a chowchow and lives mostly outside ... he found a hole in the fence to peek through to see what all the fuzz is about when Drift is playing outside ;) it's kinda funny when he pushes his nose against the wire making sounds only a chow can make ;) ...

Pumbas großer Auftritt: wir haben die Szene mehrmals wiederholt, Take 5 wurde dann verwendet.
Pumba's big entrance: we repeated the scene several times, take 5 was then used.
Our domestic cat Pumba is a dangerous beast. That is why we can only keep them indoors in a metal cage with thick iron bars. Anyone who has ever seen the film Jurassic Park (1993) - with the scene Raptors in the Kitchen knows what I mean.

....so we have named him Pumba - the biggest of the bunch and the puppy which most of the family thinks we should keep!
Have a wonderful weekend ahead everyone....thank you so much for all your visits, comments and faves.
Die rhetorische Frage, mit der man früher die nervösen Blicke der jungen Fotomotive Richtung Kameralinse zu lenken versuchte, wurde hier von unserer Hauskatze Pumba gründlich missverstanden.

Next in my series of twos - two Pumbas. I know they are so ugly, but I find them so interesting. They can run faster than you might think, up to 30 mph. When they run their tails stick straight up, so in Kenya, they are sometimes called "Kenya Express". They have short-term memories which is how a lot of them get killed. They might be running from a predator and then forget why they are running and stop. They back into their dens so they can protect their den with their tusks and run out head first if in danger.
Happy Safari Sunday...

I KNOW... it's a dumb name for that picture, but it is what it is.
I always remember being on one of the rare guided safari-drives I participated and that guide who was so happy to show everyone a family of warthogs, antennas up and running through the gras.
No one of that family with 3 youngsters was interested and he yelled "PUMBA!!!" and everyone was excited and took out there handys to get a shot.
I was really feeling with him that moment and he gave me that: "Nothing you can do about it." look, I nearly laughed out loud.
