Collection of Plasma Pulse slings in the three variant sizes.
Quick builds, so they're pretty unrefined. Compiled in Paint.net.

I enjoyed laying out the nice wool blend of icelandic roving "Polarfox" mixed with carded tussah silk. I made a pre-felt blend which I cut into shapes to design the patterns on all 4 sides of the pulse warmers. That is the neat-O thing about these, that they have 4 different sides and can be worn inside out! Very versatile indeed!
I use these to show during my felting seminars in the Stuttgart Germany region.
NREL customized pulsed laser deposition chamber.
Because of their great potential as a means of storing, transmitting and distributing electricity, high-temperature superconducting materials, systems, and components are an important area of R&D in NREL's Center for Basic Sciences. Extremely high quality films of high temperature superconductivity are grown in NREL's customized chamber. Superconducting wires of the future will be capable of carrying a large amount of electricity in a very efficient manner.

Analog's Pulse was a three day film photography event hosted by Aperture: A Photography and Variety Store in the Tremont area of Cleveland, Ohio on June 29, 30 and July 1. In addition to the fabulous job Scott Meivogel (owner of Aperture) did of hosting this great event, it was also sponsored by A & A Studios, Film Photography Project and the Old School Photo Lab. These images were taken as part of the cross process photo walk on Saturday.

For the second time, California Science Center located at Exposition Park, Los Angeles, hosted the traveling exhibition of Body Worlds conceived by Germany's Gunther von Hagens. The exhibited bodies and body parts are from actual humans, from consenting volunteers who willed their bodies to science upon death, and preserved permanently through the process of plastination which replaces all body moisture with silicone.
This specimen holds his heart in his hands while in a praying pose. This is why I am fascinated with this exhibition: actual human bodies used not only to illustrate the scientific aspects of human physiology, but also as the natural work of art.
Alongside the colourful dishes were rice, spicy fried potatoes (in the box) and parathas (on another plate). Pulse is a new Indian restaurant in Shepherd's Bush. The food was quite tasty!
