Homage to Pulp Fiction. Those are nerf guns I promise.

Our Daily Challenge - Literature

I was lucky enough to have a dad that introduced me to the old classics at a young age - I love Earle Stanley Gardner, Dick Francis novels - I think that I've read them all at least 10 times. I am an avid reader, from slushy romances to a good crime thriller. I am currently reading Michael Robotham - if you like suspense and a nail biting psychological thriller - read it. It is so hectic that I'm too scared to read the next chapter . . . . . . . . . . . .

"And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."

Nevertheless I complimented.... Coffee bar in Nijmegen, The Netherlands.

Shoreditch, London Now sadly painted over :(

The green gnome on the cover is a Martian from “Martians, Go Home” by Frederick Brown, a broad satire of the human race as seen through the eyes of a billion jeering, invulnerable Martians who arrive not to conquer the world but to drive it crazy.

This time I'm bringing you not only one but two images from our movie photo session. The first image had great reviews and I decided to go ahead with a second one that I believe is as good as the first one. I hope you like it.

I used a bit of photoshop for the cigarette smoke using some brushes from www.brusheezy.com/brushes/1830-real-smoke-photoshop-brushes

Please bear in mind that this is a photo montage, no real cigarettes have been used here. These are fake cigarettes with fake smoke.

Thank you all for your appreciation.

"Pulp Fiction" is one of the movies I like very much (and honestly, who doesn't?) and I've had Vincent's and Jule's minifigs ready for a very long time. Finally a larger scene is ready, hope you'll enjoy!

For flickr group roulette and Standing on stuff I've done a few photographs in these shoes of late, but thought Id do a special one to show off their side profile and their kinky nature!

even though this is kind of a rectangle. But you get the idea.

Quote from "Pulp Fiction"

"The Snake Mother" by A. Merritt was originally serialized in seven parts in Argosy Magazine beginning with the October 25, 1930 issue. It is the sequel to Merritt's "The Face in the Abyss." The story concerns American mining engineer Nicholas Graydon. While searching for lost Inca treasure in South America, he encounters Suarra, handmaiden to the Snake Mother of Yu-Atlanchi. She leads Graydon to an abyss where Nimir, the Lord of Evil is imprisoned in a face of gold. While Graydon's companions are transformed by the face into globules of gold on account of their greed, he is saved by Suarra and the Snake Mother whom he joins in their struggle against Nimir. I'm not going to pay Amazon $7.98 for it, free shipping or not.

The cover illustration is for Jack Williamson's "The Fortress of Utopia," a time travel story. In an attempt to save the Earth from future collision with a comet, humankind is sent back into the far past, with their memories erased, in order to re-evolve to a sufficiently advanced state to combat the comet.

This pic is my affectionate ode to the gritty pulp fiction of the 1950’s, starring Dean’s gorgeous #3 brunette ‘Gene,’ and her ‘twin sis’, my airbrushed #3 brunette on her #4 body, that I brought over to his place while I was visiting yesterday. Both gals as you can see have that pale blue eyeliner that’s unique to the #3s, (when they don't have their usual brown, that is!) but there are very interesting subtle differences to their faces… while their makeup is practically identical, (exactly the same lips!) the width of their temples and the placement of their eyes and eyebrows are a little different. Even so, we think that they are both really beautiful. We had a little fun shooting them yesterday, as you can see! We were trying to decide how to photograph them, when I spotted the cage that houses his dog’s bed and joked that we should use that! We then thought, ‘why not?’ and then just ran with it! LOL

Jules: Fuck, nigga, what the fuck did you do to his towel?

Vincent: I was dryin' my hands.

Jules: You're supposed to wash 'em first!

Vincent: You watched me wash 'em.

Jules: I watched you get 'em wet.

Vincent: I was washing 'em. But this shit's hard to get off. Maybe if I had Lava or something, I coulda done a better job.

Jules: I used the same fuckin' soap you did and when I got finished, the towel didn't look like no goddamn Maxi-Pad!

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides

By the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men

Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will

Shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness

For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children

And I will strike down upon thee

With great vengeance and furious anger

Those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers

And you will know my name is the Lord

When I lay my vengeance upon thee" - Ezekiel 25:17

Pulp Fiction is possibly the best movie of the 90s with a rocking soundtrack.

Unfortunately I don't smoke and don't even know how to light a cigarette, so no smoke effects. We also don't own a gun so I was little short on the prop department.

45/52 {52 semanas de agradable conversación}

Esta semana me he vuelto salir del guión... Más que lugar, he buscado un personaje. Porque los hay que fascinan tanto o más que algunos lugares.

No sería genial poder compartir un rato de nuestro tiempo con ellos???
