PULP MYTHOLOGY Vol One
Wesbster’s dictionary defines “myth” as a traditional or legendary story usually concerning some being or hero or event, with or without a determinable basis of fact or natural explanation, especially one that is concerned with deities or demigods. It explains some practice, rite, or phenomenon of nature. A collection of myths is a mythology.
Now Airship 27 Productions brings you four such tales of wonder and imagination distilled through the minds of today’s New Pulp writers. These are stories handed down before the written word that still mesmerize and entertain us.
“This book was inevitable,” explains Airship 27 Productions Managing Editor, Ron Fortier. “After doing our series of Sinbad the Sailor anthologies, we always felt there was a market for pulp flavored stories inspired by classic mythological heroes. Once we put the word out, filling this first volume took no time at all.” In these pages you will find such eternal heroes as Hercules, Achilles, the Monkey King and Beowulf in classic adventures courtesy of Jaime Evans, Joel Jenkins, Barbara Doran and Fred Adams Jr.
Artists Clayton Hinkle provides the black and white interior illustrations and Zachary Brunner the cover featuring a battling Hercules.
In PULP MYTHOLOGY, ancient thrills are made new again and legends live forever.

Mia: Don't you hate that?
Vincent: What?
Mia: Uncomfortable silences. Why do we feel it's necessary to yak about bullshit in order to be comfortable?
Vincent: I don't know. That's a good question.
Mia: That's when you know you've found somebody special. When you can just shut the fuck up for a minute and comfortably enjoy the silence.
Some of the excess coffee cherry pulp is dried and then reconverted to energy that's used to power the mill. The way it works is after drying, the pulp is sucked through this tube and burned in order to convert it into energy used to power the mill. The remaining coffee cherry pulp goes to a worm composting project.

Zum Motiv:
Pulp Fiction gilt als einer der 10 besten Filme aller Zeiten. Folgerichtig begeistern die Fans neben den DVDs oder Blu-Rays auch Pop-Art-Kunstwerke. Dieses Schwarz-Weiß-Gemälde enthält auch noch einen kleinen roten Blutfleck auf der Brust von Vincent Vega. Natürlich handelt es sich hierbei um ein handgemaltes Unikat, welches eine tolle Dekoration für Ihre Wohnung darstellt.
Zum Kunstwerk:
Acryl auf Leinwand. Die Leinwand ist auf einen Keilrahmen gespannt und auf der Rückseite festgeklammert. Das Motiv ist über die Ränder gemalt, so dass das Kunstwerk ohne Rahmen aufgehängt werden kann. Zum Schutz vor Schmutz, Feuchtigkeit und Licht wurde das Kunstwerk speziell versiegelt.

I found a big box of these at a yard sale on Saturday, and bought a sackful for $3. I gave them to my good friend Leslie, who collects such things (she has about 15 framed covers on her bathroom wall), but took this photo first. I think our favourite was Spawn of the Bayou ("He longed to possess Kathy, but she was his own niece -- or -- possibly -- his own daughter!"), followed closely by Shack Baby ("Shameless and Brash as a Hillbilly's Hussy!")
