A Sunday cure for cabin fever - every weekend it has just poured for the last umpteen months. In the top right hand corner you can see a building which is Melbournes' "police Academy" perched high on a hill. In the 3/4 foreground the white specks are cockatoos (cockys to us) huge buggers the size of an overfed moggy (obviously the rains have brought plenty of food). Decided to get on the MTB's and just get wet and dirty. Taken on the Samsung Galaxy SII whilst braving a cold and wet Sunday arvo. The bike track actually goes all the way to the beach some 25km's south if you stick with it. It follows the newly opened Eastlink motorway. The track goes through parks and bushland, urban centres, sewage treatment plants (huge drying ponds), a purpose built olympic rowing centre and finally to Port Phillip Bay. Used Pudding Camera app - vivid and finished off on Snapseed.
