Take during an organized walk with some friends. We met, to take some pictures of the various under ground stations here in Munich.
Goal was to take pictures of several stations within Munic. There is even an dedicated group on flickr, www.flickr.com/groups/u-bahn-muenchen/
For this trip, we decided on line U2, starting from the final stop Feldmoching towards main station. This photo, taken at the station Feldmoching is under exposed about 2 steps in order to highlight the open doors with LED stripes at the newer car models in Munich. Additionally, the station itself was lit a little bit on the dark side. Also recognizable, the windows of the train are covered with foil or treated somehow, because there is little light transmitting from the inside of the car.
In the 1970s cities in Germany fell for the credo "concrete is good for you". In my hometown, much of the historically grown was sacrificed for efficiency, and with it the soul many a place once had. Here's my attempt to make it at least look interesting...
This landscape photo was taken, in Europe, in France, in ile de France, in Paris, in summer. We see the Pantheon, under the Sun.
San Franciscos yellow streetcars from the muni f-line offers a nice color accent in the market street, downtown San Francisco.
We sat a lot in this historical vehicle in order to travel from castro to downtown.

I have been going through some old folders and came across this shot that I took when on a mini-break in Berlin. A great city for photography. I've learned a lot about photography since my visit there in 2019 so I'd love to go back and have another go!

FILLING UP BEFORE A DAY'S WORK.
SBB CFF FFS: at the Pfäffikon SZ station there are four EMUs. On the left, on track 5, the six-car EMU RABe 511 022 working the Interregio train 2365 on line IR35 from Zürich HB to Chur. On track 6, the EMU RABe 511 004, which will leave a quarter of an hour later with a train on line S5 to Zug. And on track 7, EMU 514 004 ready to depart working a train on line S8 to Winterthur.
Torno, this practice is meant for pedicabs/tricycles/jeepneys to wait for passengers at designated areas (akin to a queue system). The first in the torno gets to get the passengers first, and so on. This scene is very much a common sight in many nooks and corners of the Philippines. This one was shot near the Bulan, Sorsogon public market.
Trying out the new camera with some handheld night shots around the tram stop outside Haymarket Railway Station at night, as people were waiting for the next trams.
I tried using different modes, including one meant to be specifically for handheld night shots, but they results were very poor - however shooting in this monochrome mode gave better results (not sharp like a tripod shot, of course, but for freehand at night, not too bad)
The Luas (tram) makes a quick stop on it's way into Dublin.

As part of their Democratic Art Exhibition, a one off framed print of this photograph, 100 x 70cm (frame) 70 x 50 cm (picture) was on display in Habitat in Dublin in late 2007.
It was also one of the first Flickr images licenced by Getty Images.
