I believe that this was the last Daimler Fleetline delivered to Coventry Transport (although not the last numerically, that was 142).
Seen here in Pool Meadow awaiting its driver, it is now West Midlands PTE 1125 (PDU 125M), an East Lancs bodied Daimler Fleetline, originally Coventry Transport `125.
Working route 3 to Holbrooks is West Midlands PTE 2022 (BOK 22V) a MCW Metrobus, seen here in Pool Meadow bus station, Coventry
Strathclyde PTE Volvo Ailsa A1 is seen freshly repainted into the orange "Strathclyde Red" livery in October 1983 as it turns at Partick Cross from Dumbarton Road onto Byres Road working on the cross city original 1 service to Gairbraid Avenue.
Ailsa A1 TGG 377W was the first of the 10 Volvo Ailsas ordered as part of the triple sourcing policy where SPTE also took the Olympian and Metrobus.

Taken at the Pier Head Bus Station in Liverpool is Merseyside PTE 4016 (CKD 416L)., on stand for a trip on route 12C. Also to be seen are Alexander and Willowbrook bodied Leyland Atlanteans.
Amongst the buses operated during the North West Vehicle Restoration Trust's recent Nocturnal Running Day was West Midlands PTE Foden NC 6300. This unusual machine is one of the two survivors out of just seven Fodens built in the 1970s.
Dedicated to flickr friend "Galizport" whose photos show so much of our portuguese towns and villages!
Greater Glasgow PTE took 5 Mark 1 versions of the MCW Metrobus in 1979 for evaluation and all initially entered service from Parkhead Depot before transfer to Maryhill to work alongside the other new types. GGA 752T was the 3rd of the 5 as MB3 and is seen here in 1983 on West George Street wearing the Strathclyde PTE3 livery scheme.
MB3 was on the original service 60 that had replaced the 23 tram service between Maryhill and Shettleston (Sandyhills) in 1960. This 60 survived between Summerston and Rutherglen until its withdrawal in 1986.
