Penny Lane, Liverpool: Psychedelic Rolls Royce

A series I spent a few hours preparing for today & just finished shooting in studio. It is a study of psychedelic fractal patterns as they appear in nature. After some clever manipulation of studio lights & construction of 'secret' tools I was able to create a film of bubble solution & light it just right so I was able to capture with a 100L macro lens i'm borrowing.

These boxes have cyanotypes of mouths on top of pinhole prints. The boxes have holes that contain different things in each of them. This for for my final project in my Alternative Process Class.

The boxes are 8x4x4 in.

This was a quick shot during our "Hallway Show" at the end of the semester. As you can tell by the cork board background.

I made this for my partner's birthday

San Pedro cactus (here, powdered) produced a serious psychedelic experience, not unlike LSD. Its major active ingredient is mescaline, and I was well into Shulgin +++ territory with it. Luckily I escaped any nausea, which is sometimes referred to, as it came on gently and lasted most of the day.
