The photo that started it all! - The *Fat Bee & Dancing Gull* Group grew out of this shot and the comment that Car made that "looks kinda like he is dancing". Little did we know what that would lead to :-)
Best viewed Large size Yes, folks, this is the real beach (black/grey volcanic sands here) and real sunset colours!... as with all my shots, as it came out of the camera, with the exception of some slight sharpening using Picassa. I use Picassa to import photos from my K100D

For some reason this sign also makes me think back to one of the first episodes of Sesame Street I ever saw. Bearing in mind that I grew up in England where, for the longest time, we had only 3....and then finally 4, TV channels, I was already in high school (i.e.comprehensive) before I saw my first episode of the famous American chidren's show (which aired only during the summer holidays I might add) and I distinctly remember them explaining the spanish words Entrada and Salida for Entrance and Exit. Funny the random things that come back to mind sometimes, but I've never forgotten.
Since everyone seems to think my house probably smells like a head shop why not make it look like one too?

After my first success of photographing the swirls of colour on the surface of bubbles, I've become obsessed with getting more shots and fine tuning my technique. I can't explain how much I love these shapes and colours!
