I just took a picture of this pole last week and the insulators were not that crooked. Looks like they pulled a bit too hard when they replaced the right insulator on the pole behind it, and the top and left insulator on the pole after this. Not too much of a problem since this pole is slated for replacement within the next week or two.

I already have a picture of this pole but notice that white flag to the right of it. That is one of the PSE&G markers to signify that they are going to be replacing that pole and moving it to that location.
I just thought I would take a final shot of this ancient pole before they replace it for the road expansion.

A simplified font, somewhat larger, against a brighter background color seems to do the trick! That is, the text is just about legible (on a sharp enough monitor).
The yellow was sampled from the flower used as a sunshade in PSE's About page. I didn't like the pale blue background with it, so I tossed it back to white.
