In Proverbs 2, wisdom's the key,
To find knowledge, we must seek diligently.
God's word is true, it will guide us through,
In all our ways, He'll direct us anew.
With understanding, we'll discern what's right,
And shun the path that leads to the night.
For wisdom is a shield, and knowledge, a guard,
To protect us from evil, it's not hard.
So let's listen, and apply what we learn,
For in wisdom's ways, we'll surely turn.
And find favor with God, and man as well,
In Proverbs 2, this truth does dwell.
Listen up and pay attention,
Wisdom's call is worth the mention.
Fools despise what they can learn,
But the wise seek truth to discern.
Understanding is what we need,
To know what's right and plant the seed.
A fruitful life is ours to gain,
When we heed wisdom's sweet refrain.
So let us seek and search with care,
And in our hearts let wisdom flare.
For in the end, we'll surely find,
A life of peace and joy combined.

Proverbs 18:2 tells us that a fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion. This is certainly true of many people today. They would rather argue about their opinions than try to understand what is really true. This is a dangerous way to live, because it leads to division and conflict instead of harmony and cooperation. The wise person, on the other hand, takes pleasure in understanding. He realizes that there are often multiple sides to every issue, and that it is important to seek out the truth. This attitude leads to peace and unity rather than division and conflict. So which do you want to be: a fool who takes no pleasure in understanding, or a wise person who seeks after truth? The choice is yours.
