The fear of the LORD leads to life, and he who has it will abide in satisfaction;
he will not be visited with evil.
In Proverbs 11, wisdom is found,
A treasure trove of truth profound.
The righteous walk a straighter path,
Their integrity will earn them wrath.
Dishonesty will lead to loss,
But those who give freely bear no cross.
A gossip's tongue will spread deceit,
But a trustworthy heart is sweet.
In Proverbs 11, the message clear,
Choose righteousness, and have no fear.
Beware, dear friend, of the woman's lure,
Her honeyed words, her tempting pure,
For like a trap, she'll catch you tight,
And steal away your heart's delight.
Her smooth talk and her seductive eyes,
Will lead you down a path of lies,
And though her beauty may entrance,
Her love will end in sorrow's dance.
So keep your feet from her abode,
And let your heart be firmly stowed,
For in the end, it's only pain,
That comes from playing with her game.
