This is also a German proverb "Morgenstund hat Gold im Mund". This phrase means that those who wake early in the morning are rich with time and opportunity.

The English version is "The early bird catches the worm" but as I didn't have a photo of a bird with a worm I was happy to find this golden sunrise photo to illustrate what i have always known, this is the best time of the day.

The Spanish equivalent is "a quien madruga dios le ayuda" direct translation is: God helps those that get up early!

'WHEN LIFE HANDS U A LEMON---U MAKE LEMONADE."

... every beginning counts! take an example from the forests around us, the quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson, “the creation of a thousand forests is in one acorn," sums it all up, a single mature oak can drop thousands of acorns, and it takes only one acorn to grow into an enormous oak ...

The proverb “the early bird catches the worm” means that being first gives someone an advantage and a better chance of success.

This robin found a lot of worms while I watched him.

About the proverb, I'm not an early bird because I go to bed late and wake up late (unless necessary).

*proverbe anglais qui colle bien à la photo je trouve...

“Slow and steady wins the race” is a proverb that means that slow, consistent progress leads to success. It suggests that someone doesn't need to be the fastest or strongest to succeed, but rather they should be the most steady.

It is commonly cited as originating from one of Aesop's fables, specifically the story ``The Tortoise and the Hare.'' This story describes an egotistical hare, well-known for his speed, who is challenged to a race by a tortoise, but a snail would be the same ;-)

Letting the cat out of the bag (also ...box) is a colloquialism meaning to reveal facts previously hidden. It could refer to revealing a conspiracy (friendly or not) to its target, letting an outsider into an inner circle of knowledge (e.g., explaining an in-joke) or the revelation of a plot twist in a movie or play. It is also known as to reveal a secret carelessly or by mistake.

“From little acorns mighty oaks do grow” - American Proverb

The proverb “a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush” means it's better to have a small, secure advantage than the possibility of a bigger one. It's often used as advice or a warning for people who are making risky decisions.

H😊oS!

"The flower has faded but its fragrance remains." Chinese proverb

The proverb “a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush” originated in medieval falconry, where a falcon in hand was more valuable than two prey birds in the bush. The earliest known use of the proverb in English was in The Life of St Katherine by John Capgrave in the 15th century. The first use of the proverb in its current form was in A Hand-book of Proverbs by John Ray in 1670.

The proverb means it's better to have something you have rather than losing it to get something better.

"A good friend is like a four-leaf clover; hard to find and lucky to have."

STAY WITH MY HEART – SOPHIE ZELMANI

While away the hours

watch the pretty flowers

blossom; overhanging bowers

dreaming; sweetness that is you

Honeyed thoughts that make me warm

bring me peace; calm down all storms

love of you in all it's forms

makes my heart complete

Butterflies that flutter by

skip a heartbeat; make me sigh

mine is not to reason why

I love you like I do

Pinch myself to stay awake

wondering when the day will break

longing for you; exquisite ache

see you in my dreams

Heard our song; it played today

on the radio; seemed far away

how I wish that you had stayed

by my side always

Looking now up to the sky

I am still and wondering why

why do people often lie

to make themselves feel better

It doesn't help to hear a lie

I would rather know and cry

so I can heal; so I can fly

free to live and love again.

Some of you will already be aware that my friend of 18 years last Thursday suffered a major heart attack. He is not old, not overweight and was the fittest man I have ever known prior to this. He was out enjoying doing what he loves best, taking photos of his beloved wildlife when he collapsed suddenly. He is still in hospital following a medical procedure. If I can say just one thing it is to not take for granted those who you are closest to because you just never know … I dedicate this picture to him and to the two people who so loved this tree when they saw it in my last video. I will not be here as much as I have been for awhile because I will be caring for him during his recovery. This will be no easy task to get him to do nothing!!! He is more stubborn than me … if that's at all possible!! ; 0) Annoyingly he can't be tagged into this photo ... ; 0))

Quick update : I am happy to say my friend has been released from the hospital. Now he can begin to recover. Thanks to all my friends and his for all your good wishes xx

The exact translation of this proverb from Polish to English is -

the further (you go) into the forest, the more trees (in front of you)

and it means - the farther you go the less you know, or

the more you get into it, the more complicated it becomes.

"Morning rain does not stop the pilgrim." French proverb

Como Lake, Dervio...

This proverb means it's better to solve a problem right away, to stop it becoming a much bigger one. It dates back to the early 18th century. Its earliest known printed reference appears in Thomas Fuller's 1732 book entitled “Gnomologia: Adagies and Proverbs”, where the author compiled many English sayings and proverbs.

Dr. Thomas Fuller: British physician (Rosehill, 24 June 1654 – London, 17 September 1734).
