Two layers of brick walls at the Happy Valley Football Club, where the tennis players are housed between play during the day at the ATP Challenger tournament. I like the 3 visual layers - building wall, chalky wall covering the side entrance, and the bollards.

Après les Arachnides, au tour de la classe des Entognathes d'être illustrée ! Elle peut être considérée comme obsolète selon le mode de classification utilisé, mais j'essaie de simplifier les choses pour mon site qui met avant tout l'accent sur les identifications plus que sur la classification (qui change sans arrêt). Les entognathes, du grec "entós" = "dans" et "gnathos" = "machoires" comprend 3 ordres dont les membres ont les pièces buccales internes, cachées dans une sorte de poche sous la tête. On ne voit pas de mandibules dépasser. L'ordre le plus connu est sans aucun doute celui des collemboles, les Diploures et Protoures étant plus discrets. je n'ai jamais vu de Protoures, et rarement des Diploures. Ces deux Ordres seraient maintenant élevé au rang de Classe.
The 'Tour Down Under' is on in earnest and signs are everywhere, even on trams! The race has gained 'ProTour' status this year so all the international teams are here. Quit a buzz about the old town. King William Street, central Adelaide.

Just a few days ago we returned from a wonderful and long Portuguese voyage.
Before posting some takes on it........ first a Tour de France 2015 mini series. The riders serpentined through Rotterdam yesterday. They started in Utrecht and finished in Zeeland (Neeltje Jans) and what a fascinating stage with lotsa drama it was - with the supporters in a very enthusiastic and supportive role.
Brecks International 58 BCE is a Neoplan Cityliner N116/2, new to Kent (Royale European), Hounslow in 2000, registered X281 AKY. It was acquired from Protours, Swadlincote in 2012, at which point it carried registration X20 YAL.

An import from the Isle of Man registered in June 2018 (previously operated by Protours and registered BMN 111D).
Supplied new to Battersby-Silver Grey of Morecambe as TTC 517M.

Another recent addition to the T&C Travel. Bognor Regis, fleet is seen in Brighton on 10th July, 2022.. Volvo B12B Berkhof Axial G16 TNC was new to Protours as FD54 DHJ and has spent the last nine years with Saffords.
Street Food takes some careful eating - sausage, onions and sauce wrapped in white bread - very easy to decorate your shirt if you are not careful.

FJ07 VKM is a Volvo B12B/Jonckheere new to Protours of Heswall as their PT75 in August 2007. It has since joined the Dood's of Ayr fleet as BB05 DOT and is seen here in Glasgow working an Abellio ScotRail rail replacement service from Ayrshire.
