Kill the Bill protests, Sheffield.
A young couple offer love and comfort to each other against a backdrop of protesters' sensible footwear. I like this photo, I feel that I have caught a moment of tenderness and also, it is as though the other protestors have formed a protective shield around them. I see this as an image of hope.

First Nations protest (with mostly non-indigenous participants, by the looks of things) in advance of the G20 conference in Toronto.
Just a simple candid street style Snap captured of some people attending a protest.

She's almost eight years old. And it was her that inspired me to go on photo-walks and led me to see so much. But she is a clever little dog who has learnt alot. And when she sees me stop and pause to take a photo, if she's eager to move on she can work out exactly what I'm trying to photograph and will deliberately go and sit down right in the middle of the shot, as a sit-down protest to tell me to get a move on. She's now of an age where she is getting quite insistent on getting her way, as you can see here!

Pot Day protest mid seventies. Going through a miserable hot and humid stretch of weather I dug this shot out of archives and breathed some new life into this shot with my denoise software.
Last night just before the Strawberry Moonrise, I caught these protesters on the steps of the WW1 Memorial doing a peaceful presentation.

Hi,
Recently Flickr did a remodel of the site and it was VERY poorly done. I am hoping to get at least 10,000 signatures to turn into Marissa Mayer. Please share this with all your friends! We need this to go viral.
That's why I signed a petition to Marissa Mayer, CEO, which says:
"We ask you to please change Flickr back to its old style. The new style is incredibly poorly done and we had no chance to opt out or even pick between the new and old style."
Will you sign the petition too? Click here to add your name:

Thanks!

Oxford Rejects Homophobes!
Exeter College hosted the group Christian Concern to hold a conference. The students believe that this group is anti lgbtq rights, anti Islam, and anti choice. They also believe that these values have no place in Oxford and should not be implicitly supported by allowing the group to hold a conference here. The student s were encouraging people to join the protest and to also make it clear that Oxford, and the student body is absolutely opposed,

According to an actress closely associated with the ruling party, the protesting farmers are terrorists and paid agents of Pakistan.
Look into their eyes and decide.
You know what? I saw a lot of the protesters out there, faces covered, trying to be shady. These protesters were out in the open, causing no problems and being amicable to people.
I'm with them. I share their message.
There were some other students protesting for "Safe Data Mining" but I didn't get a chance to photograph them. I have to say, I'm all for "Safe Data Mining."
Among the protests I've attended over the past 6 months, was this one where a peaceful march was held in front of a local pub where the patrons had accosted BLM marchers the day before. As with every other protest that I attended, the matter was entirely a peaceful venture.
Hardware: Olympus OM-D e-M1.2 with the m.Zuiko 12-40mm f2.8 Pro lens. 40mm | f2.8 | ISO200 | 1/640
Software: Initial RAW processing in DxO PhotoLab4 as that software seems to pull the full Olympus juice out of the files. Tweaked in On1 Photo RAW 2021 with a roundtrip into Nik Silver Efex Pro. Finished in Layers where I blended the color and mono versions, added a border and my signature.
