Perhaps selling and allowing fireworks is a bad idea. Smoky skies due to a fire in Utah, started by fireworks.. Our air quality always suffers during July!

It may be a while before I upload anything. I went hiking at the Dog Mountain Trailhead near the community of Glenoma in Lewis County, Washington, enjoyed a great view, and then I got back to my car and found it like this. Thieves had broken out the passenger side window and took some of my equipment and a drone. They slashed both tires on the passenger side, making it necessary to call a tow truck. The tow truck driver told me I'm not the only one recently, and it's getting worse. All I wanted to do was to go for a nice walk on my birthday. This has got to stop.

It should be noted that I was parked less than about 40 feet from a well travelled main road, with the car in plain view, and all valuables were concealed from view.

Update: finally got my car back, but it still requires a lot of work. As long as I take it easy, I can get out and do things now.

Waterman Supply Co. reopened with the basics of welcome to the public for business.

Gemelli fixed their door and added a message.

I couldn't make this stuff up. It happened again. This time my fourth floor neighbor threw his microwave oven over his balcony railing. Luckily no one was hurt.

Five Police cars responded. It was his own microwave oven so no payments to be made this time unlike the Landlord's fridge he threw over. See HERE: www.flickr.com/photos/mikeygottawa/52055164783/

I'm waiting to see what's next! Poor guy needs some help.

Thanks to my friend Shane for his raw photo which I later edited and posted above.

I could not make this stuff up myself. My fourth floor neighbor is in trouble. For some reason he pushed his apartment's fridge over his 4th floor apartment balcony railing onto the lawn below. Luckily no one was beneath at the time. Police were called, he was put on meds and he returned home.

My compliments to the Frigidaire people for the sturdy construction.

Today his own microwave went flying down. From the fourth floor balcony. The Super quickly cleaned up the mess while probably muttering under his breath. Five Police cars responded. I can still see the yellow, caution tape and the broken glass. See here: www.flickr.com/photos/mikeygottawa/52060203384/

I thought there might be looting when the economic shutdown started in March, but the stores were left perfectly intact. That changed last night with vandalism and looting around SoHo. This is nothing to do with social justice, and I hope the felons are all caught on video and have their day in court.
