After the Meet-Up proper at the Sonic, a smaller group of headed across the street to the Grapevine Mills Mall where we did our best to stick Shimiko to anything metal we could find (yay magnetic boots!). The lighting inside a mall on a rainy day wasn't the best, but it was certainly a super fun time!
I'm really disappointed in his the colors in this turned out, it was such a fun, cure, Shimiko-esque picture! I think I've learned my lesson and malls just aren't the place to go for photo shoots, no matter how much random metal is there to stick magnetic boots too. lol.
I attended the June DFW Pullips Meet-Up today, and was totally ashamed of myself considering that the ones from the April Meet-Up were still sitting in my iPhoto completely unedited. So I told myself I had to edit and upload them before I could even download the June Meet-Up photos off the camera! At least the motivation worked, sorry for the delay >___>;;

Georgia Garrison Training Center Ga., August 29, 2016—Members from the Army and Air National Guard along with law enforcement participated in the second annual small arms firing clinic hosted at the Georgia Garrison Training center from Aug 28th to September 1st. The purpose of the clinic is to increase individual’s proficiency and confidence by identifying and improving shortfalls exposed through challenges such as scenario based stages of fire, weapons manipulation drills and target engagement over varying distances on both their primary and secondary weapons. I love signs like this. I just couldn't resist snapping a shot of this one at the Grundy Lake store off Hwy 69 this long weekend.
Bonnie LOVES this file box. She was lying on it gargoyle-style, dangling her front legs, but turned to watch me.
