The "continental" breakfast at my hotel left a lot to be desired. (What continent was that supposed to represent, Antarctica?)

Good to know you can get a much more fulfilling breakfast at the airport - like a three-meat omelet.

And I kept the streak alive! Pork with every meal!

Yeah, I have rescheduled the Proper Pedal Picnic so it won't conflict with another picnic ride! We are still meeting at P's and Q's at 6:30 PM, but now two weeks later on Thursday June 29. The basic premise remains: Dress classy and ride about five miles to a mystery park destination. Picnic blankets, lights, and another layer encouraged! #properpedal #properpedalpicnic #pedalpalooza #pedalpalooza2017

This is as far as I am going to make it on this one... more details in this post: www.quiltsinthequeue.com/2013/09/a-sad-storyand-how-i-got...

this thing has been around since forever in my family

Moo and Morris got us this fab chest that has lots of treasure in it and mummy says that's good because now we are growing up we need to have a proper treasure hoard like grown up dragons have.

We can make the chest nice because there are paints and stuff then we can collect shiny things in it.

Agaricus campestris - The caps were about 1-2 inches across, were knoblike. The stem had a ring, was covered with many white scales, and was hollow and round. This little group of mushrooms were on a front lawn Carmel, New York.

Somewhere in time it became a common admonition to make subjects look at the camera for portraits. However, this "rule" can cause a lot of grief and ruin photographs. Having a person looking at the camera and smiling can make a nice image. But if the subject continually wrinkles their forehead, squints their eyes, or can not make a non-overdramatic smile when looking at the camera, then you are better off having the subject look away.

On the right is our grandmother Chella (Bennett) McCombs, and on the left her oldest sister Gladys Bennett, the Wasco librarian who never married. Probably in the late 1940s, probably at Pismo Beach. This probably was a chilly winter day.
