I was really pleased with this one. At last, I thought, a proper "photographer"s picture.

I had just diced 2 giant red onions and the fumes were causing me great ocular distress. So I grabbed my handy welding goggles (they were in my stocking this year!) and got to chopping up the mound of chilies that I decided to add to the recipe.
Unfortunately, moments later I itched my nose and got chili juice inside my left nostril. There was much whimpering, crying, and flushing with milk after that.

Skirt is a Gingham plaid with a contrasting black and white trim along the waist
Tie is made from the same fabric as the skirt. to fasten the tie i used lace. It has a Dickie like effect, so as it can be paired with other outfits.

speaking of training, I was trying to figure out proper feed/speed rates for CNCing and what I read and heard was feed rate = RPM * chipload (0.015-0.03) * flutes. Except that this means you should machine 1/8 inch ply at some 300 ipm? That seems crazy fast, and terrifying. In the end I was using 12000 rpm with 3ips on a 4-flute 1/8th inch flat end-mill... which was fine, but much slower than these formulas otherwise dictate. Thoughts?
Beijing, formerly romanized as Peking, is the capital of the People's Republic of China, the world's third most populous city proper, and most populous capital city. The city, located in northern China, is governed as a municipality under the direct administration of the central government with 16 urban, suburban, and rural districts. Beijing Municipality is surrounded by Hebei Province with the exception of neighboring Tianjin Municipality to the southeast; together, the three divisions form the Jingjinji metropolitan region and the national capital region of China.
Beijing is an important world capital and global power city, and one of the world's leading centers for politics, economy and business, finance, education, culture, innovation and technology, architecture, language, and diplomacy. A megacity, Beijing is the second largest Chinese city by urban population after Shanghai and is the nation's political, cultural, and educational center. It is home to the headquarters of most of China's largest state-owned companies and houses the largest number of Fortune Global 500 companies in the world, as well as the world's four biggest financial institutions. It is also a major hub for the national highway, expressway, railway, and high-speed rail networks. The Beijing Capital International Airport has been the second busiest in the world by passenger traffic since 2010, and, as of 2016, the city's subway network is the busiest and second longest in the world.
Combining both modern and traditional architecture, Beijing is one of the oldest cities in the world, with a rich history dating back three millennia. As the last of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China, Beijing has been the political center of the country for most of the past eight centuries, and was the largest city in the world by population for much of the second millennium A.D. Encyclopædia Britannica notes that "few cities in the world have served for so long as the political headquarters and cultural center of an area as immense as China." With mountains surrounding the inland city on three sides, in addition to the old inner and outer city walls, Beijing was strategically poised and developed to be the residence of the emperor and thus was the perfect location for the imperial capital. The city is renowned for its opulent palaces, temples, parks, gardens, tombs, walls and gates. It has seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites—the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, Ming Tombs, Zhoukoudian, and parts of the Great Wall and the Grand Canal— all tourist locations. Siheyuans, the city's traditional housing style, and hutongs, the narrow alleys between siheyuans, are major tourist attractions and are common in urban Beijing.
Many of Beijing's 91 universities consistently rank among the best in China, such as the Peking University and Tsinghua University. Beijing CBD is a center for Beijing's economic expansion, with the ongoing or recently completed construction of multiple skyscrapers. Beijing's Zhongguancun area is known as China's Silicon Valley and a center of innovation and technology entrepreneurship.

Milan is a city in northern Italy, regional capital of Lombardy, and the second-most-populous city proper in Italy after Rome. The city proper has a population of about 1.4 million, while its metropolitan city has 3.22 million residents. The urban area of Milan is the fourth-most-populous in the EU with 5.27 million inhabitants. According to national sources, the population within the wider Milan metropolitan area (also known as Greater Milan) is estimated between 4.9 million and 7.4 million, making it by far the largest metropolitan area in Italy and one of the largest in the EU. Milan is the economic capital of Italy, one of the economic capitals of Europe and a global financial centre.
Milan is a leading alpha global city, with strengths in the fields of art, chemicals, commerce, design, education, entertainment, fashion, finance, healthcare, media (communication), services, research, and tourism. In terms of GDP, Milan is the wealthiest city in Italy, having also one of the largest economies among EU cities. Founded around 400 BC under the name Medhelanon by a Celtic tribe belonging to the Insubres group and belonging to the Golasecca culture, it was conquered by the ancient Romans in 222 BC, who latinized the name of the city into Mediolanum. The city's role as a major political centre dates back to the late antiquity, when it served as the capital of the Western Roman Empire. From the 12th century until the 16th century, Milan was one of the largest European cities and a major trade and commercial centre, as the capital of the Duchy of Milan, one of the greatest political, artistic and fashion forces in the Renaissance. Having become one of the main centres of the Italian Enlightenment during the early modern period, it then became one of the most active centres during the Restoration, until its entry into the unified Kingdom of Italy. From the 20th century onwards Milan became the industrial and financial capital of Italy.
Milan has been recognized as one of the world's four fashion capitals. Many of the most famous luxury fashion brands in the world have their headquarters in the city, including: Armani, Prada, Versace, Moschino, Valentino and Zegna. It also hosts several international events and fairs, including Milan Fashion Week and the Milan Furniture Fair, which are among the world's biggest in terms of revenue, visitors and growth. The city is served by many luxury hotels and is the fifth most starred in the world by Michelin Guide. It hosted the Universal Exposition in 1906 and 2015. In the field of sports, Milan is home to two of Europe's most successful football teams, AC Milan and Inter Milan, and one of Europe's main basketball teams, Olimpia Milano.
My first proper fasciation. Lots of red bartsia around at Rogiet countryside park today, and I was pleased to find this bit.

Monday 10 April 2017: Pokhara - Beni - Darbang - Sibang - Muna
Another early morning, but after a proper night’s sleep and time for another set of sunrise photos before breakfast at 6am and a final photo up on the ridge wall: stunning snow capped mountains beneath big blue skies, and 6 clean trekkers - Ernst, Christine, Steffi, Sam, Charles and me.
Minibus to Beni (बेनी) (11.30am) for an early lunch at the Hotel Mustang Lete while Chhiring supervised negotiations and kit transfer to "local community transport" - a jeep and a battered bus. Further "negotiations" before we could depart Beni on the dirt road following the Myagdi Khola for the dusty, twisty, bouncy journey to Darbang (Darwang दर्बङ) for sweet tea and seat swop, Sibang where we met lentil winnowing girls (and the original planned overnight stop) and Muna (मुना) where the road now ends in a volley ball pitch-cum-car park by the school.
Val, Chhiring and the crew set up camp and we kept out of the way, sorting out our tents and chatting in the blue mess tent as Dal Bhat dinner was prepared. Charles produced his never-ending-tub of home made chilli which was to last us for the full four weeks, like magic.
To bed c 9pm under a big bright moon.
