Photographing unnoticed is hard. I feel a bit awkward when doing it, afraid that someone will notice (suddenly the shutter makes a lot of noise), and also it is not easy to get an interesting shot.

Tonight I was at a wine bar enjoying a glass of good wine and the sunny weather. There were a lot of people outside having fun together. I tried to photograph from underneath the tabletop. This is what came out. (Together with shots of only the table leg in focus :-D).

cast iron pot. My grandparents sold these at the small grocery store they owned. It's at least 30 years old, probably more. I love having things that hold my family history.

I used water color pencils for this one. I think it turned out looking a bit like a beach ball which was not the original intent, but I really like it.

Prompt 5: summer traditions

Prompt DALL-E:

Create a widescreen portrait of a young, slender girl with her face faintly visible, composed entirely of black and dark gray tones, without any light gray or blue. Emphasize dramatic and wild accents of gold dust as the central focus and primary source of light. This gold dust should subtly illuminate her features, offering an artistic, high-fashion look. The image should radiate mystery and intrigue, with the gold dust creating a stark contrast against the dark backdrop. Include large expressive dark brown eyes and a thin, artful line of gold dust across her face, ensuring no blue hues are present.

I had so much prep to do for upcoming workshops that I thought I would do some of that for today's layout, this layout is designed by Sonya Edwards , an I have to teach it next week , so I made the sample up, I leave the photos off till after I have taught it but will have photos from a beach trip, hope it still counts as a layout for the day

Purple, orange, green, blue and pink glitter glue was applied in horizontal lines across an index card and allowed to drip down.

Glitter glue lines were spread flat with the side of a plastic glue stick.

Finally I stitched with a sewing machine in an angular path inward to the center.

My f stop was at 5.6, my iso was at 200, and my shutter speed was at 1/8. I tried getting one person to stand still while other people walked around him. i like the effect it made with the moving people being blurry but the main focus being the person standing still. The image looks very cool to me.

plain doodle....I'm gonna jazz it up a little :)

Our kitchen is a beautiful and cosy place where we spend a lot of hours. It is very very dark though. To bring some color into it I bought some bright and colorful dishtowels earlier this year. The colors and patterns reminded me of flowers and I got the urge to do something creative. I created the ‘Artificial Flower Collection’.

I'm working on being more humble, and gracious.

The first thing that came to mind is the doorway at our family cottage where Dad measured all of us each summer and marked our growth. That doorway is still there today.

Day 11 - Water // So today I was supposed to do a prompt on water. Seeing as I live in the desert and don't have the time to go to a water park today, I thought that taking a picture of drinking water would be fine. I can't stand tap water, so I buy jugs. Bottles are just too pricey. I know this is total off-brand and most people won't do that, but water is water. Tap just has a bad taste to it.

If you let your Nokia Lumia connect to Facebook, you should probably expect to prune who or what you follow in Facebook because a wide variety of items push to the front of your screen from Facebook.

I can't even being to imagine how to draw a "wonderwall"

I wrote about my favorite movies that remind me of summer. I'm not really a fan of how this one turned out...I may give this prompt another try!
