Prompt: The Princess Bride - 1987

**Tell the story of a time when one of your wishes came true or of a time you helped someone else’s wish come true.**

Getting our Disneyland APs definitely qualifies as a wish come true for me. For Scott, well, he's just along for the ride because he loves me.

Character, voluptuous, beautiful woman from Monty Python Carol Cleveland, Victorian fashion, cinematic lighting, mega hot blonde, curvy, vfx, rim lighting, gorgeous, imax quality visuals, 70mm, 16k, ilm, weta digital

The dreaded chair. And I didn't even go out to draw it. I stayed in the safety of my own home!

I'm taking over mum's photo prompt game. The first one I've got to do is "Shell".

The big one in the middle is my favourite because I like the clours in the middle.

Prompt mostly uses these Sprinters for patent transport. This brand new one is seen in East Chicago near the Indiana Harbor.

Prompt #22 from Janel of "Run with Scissors" Journal prompts

Journal Prompt 22: Today I want to know what your favorite holiday is!! There are soooo many holidays out there and the cool thing is that they differ depending on where you live, your family, and your religion. Teach me all about your favorite holiday and why it's your favorite :)

I love love love Halloween. Fall is my favorite time of year. I'm really wishing fall was here now cause I am not a fan of summer.

I definitely laughed when I followed today's prompt and saw bathing suits and Christina Aguilera. I mentioned the prompt to my husband and he said, well, she is singing the National Anthem on Sunday. BOOM.

Inspiration hit me like a steel curtain!

I received that yellow PP in a scrapbook circle kit and KNEW exactly how I would use it one day!

GO STEELERS!

One of the many colorful walls in the Barrio area of Tucson, AZ.

-Ca. 525 BC-East pediment of the Siphnian Treasury of Delphi-This pedimental group depicts the great challenge to the existence of the sanctuary: Herakles, not being redeemed by his half-brother Apollo from his bloodguilt (after slaying his wife and children), furiously seizes the tripod of the Pythia, the priestess who received the oracles from Apollo, which stood in the adyton, the temple's most sacred place. Herakles intended to establish an oracle of his own with it. The hero was thus threatening the divine order, and had to be promptly restrained by Zeus, the father of the gods himself. Only he would be able to smooth over the conflict of his sons and ensure the continuity of the Delphic Oracle. -In the center, Zeus stands restraining Heracles on the right and Apollo (supported by Artemis) to the left. -The chariots and horses making up the rest of the scene may symbolize the First Sacred War at Delphi that occurred c. 595-585 BC. It was fought between the allies of Delphi and the city of Kirrha, whose frequent robbery and mistreatment of pilgrims on their way to Delphi and their encroachments up Delphic land were seen as threats to the survival of the oracle, just as Herakles' attempted theft was.

Warm Prompt = Gentle Reminder

Alice says "lemmy-ade," so this happened.

A Tibetan singing bowl. It's over a hundred years old! It makes a really lovely sound when you hit it gently with a special stick. You can just see it at the bottom of the photo. The bowl has even got it's own special cushion to sit on!

Drowning the Monkey is a game where participants first write prompts, put them in a pile, then select from the pile and draw. The only real rule is that you must write one before you draw one. 030814. This night we had 6 participants, one of whom was 8 (no, she didn't consume any alcohol, we're not so bad as that).

these are portions of paints and drips that I had saved for occasions like this (from other painted projects) even a little note I wrote about a pen working over acrylic...lol

....in the Clarks Shopping Village.

Street, Somerset.

Started in 1825, by Quaker brothers Cyrus and James Clark, as a business making sheepskin rugs and slippers, using out-workers in the village, it has expanded to become a global shoe brand, with operations in Europe, the United States and the Far East.

For much of the life of the business, the company manufactured its own shoes in Somerset, building several factories in the area. The company's Quaker ethos made provision for workers' housing, education and leisure activities, while its keen social conscience kept Street 'dry' for many years. Rising costs and low productivity prompted the company to move production abroad, and while shoe design is still predominantly done in the United Kingdom, all manufacturing has now moved to India, Brazil, Cambodia, China, and Vietnam. In 1993, redundant buildings at its Street site were opened as Clarks Village, which includes more than 90 shops. There are also coffee shops, refreshment stalls, and a dining area shared by fast food chains, mostly selling goods at a discount to high street prices.

This was fun and turned out so well I used it for my etsy shop banner!

Photo showing Miserable Machines: Soot-o-mat at the bunker exhibition at POSTCITY.

In this work mussels are lashed into an electro-stimulated design apparatus to make a vase. They are allowed to relax up to a certain point, then shocked, prompting movement that scratches a design onto the object. The resulting form might be seen as a sobering memento mori, a reflection on manufacturing processes that exploit biology.
