We just got a Optoma DV10 Projector. We're running it at 90" diagonal... this is a shot from 'Pride and Prejudice' playing on the projector's internal DVD player.
This was taken of my wall. I used an old film camera as a projecter. To do this i took a picture on the bulb setting, opend the back of the camera, placed the negative infron of the open shutter, put a desk lamp behind the negative, and messed with the zoom and focus of the lens till it was clear.

Until 2007, the Starlite drive-in provided seasonal movie entertainment to PSU students and residents around State College, PA. Now the drive-in is permanently closed and its time is running out given its prime real estate location.

These were used at the BBC for previewing rushes, cutting copies, sync rushes, transmission prints, answer prints etc. A lot of material was shot on 16mm and shown with seperate magnetic sound. They were also used in the dubbing theatres. BBC Television Previews no longer exist.
