I swear food like fries, chicken tenders, and hotdogs taste way better at a ballpark. Even though I sat at the nose bleed seats I like the view of the whole field. I went to the game with most of my close guy friends and even though we lost I still had a great time.

Built in 1561 through to 1566, the Astronomical Clock is considered to be a real treasure of both art history and sacred history. It was located behind the High Altar in the ambulatory but was completely destroyed in 1942. Only one dial (which had been replaced with an earlier restoration) remains in the St. Annen Museum. The new Astronomical Clock was constructed on the East side of the Northern transept in the "Death dance" chapel. It is the work of Paul Behrens, a clockmaker in Lübeck, who planned it as his lifetime achievement from 1960 - 1967, collected donations for it and constructed the elements of the clock himself. He also maintained the clock until his death. The clockface is a simplified duplicate of the original. With a complicated mechanical system, the clock shows planetary positions, phases of the sun and moon, signs of the zodiac (astronomically, not astrologically), the date on which Easter falls and the Golden Ratio. At 12 o'clock midday the bells ring out and the movement of the figures before Christ consecrating spurs into action. The figures were originally Electors; after post-war reconstruction they are now eight representatives of the different races and peoples of the world.

Après une longue hésitation > la voici

If it's a beloved enough saying to appear on a coffee cup, that alone gives me hope for humanity.

I feel like I am sending my job applications into the ether: poof! poof! poof! Occasionally, I get an email back from a actual person saying that my materials have been received, and they'll contact me again if they want. It's grinding.

To cheer myself, I painted my fingers and toes this morning. Fingers: Julep in Penelope. Toes: Julep in Stefani. Not shown? The bright red lippie I put on too, because, well, why not?

This is my newest PDF pattern. Since Fall seems to be the season when a lot of us are making Christmas gifts, I am busy putting out patterns to help.

paint in lowes valspar: peach frenzy

Peach is not my favourite color to paint on a wall but this color looks like a creamsicle which was what I was going for.

One might say there is too much peach in there, with the cedar being a pink wood and I was worried about this too but in a way it hides it at the same time, giving it a backround appearance and letting the food stand out.

The chairs were kind of not planned, originally I got the table off a classifieds for $30, it's ikea. The guy insisted I take the 3 chairs but I was unsure about the color, the ikea stefan chairs were only $5 each anyway and I LOVE how they turned out in the space, the black couldn't have been a better contrast to all the peachy tones.

Hohensalzburg Castle.

The Firing Gallery. evolved in 1498 was built at the same time the "Hohen Stock" was furnished as a royal palace. It was intended to provide reinforcement of the old encircling wall directly adjoining the mountain precipices. The cannons in the embrasure recesses date back to the Thirty Years' War. Built with a 20cm calibre, they were classified as heavy artillery, covering a range of some 2.5km and were used for firing "bombs" - hollow metal shot filled with gunpowder. The fuse (hemp cord soaked in acetate of lead, which retained its red-hot glow no matter how strong the wind blew) caught fire immediately on discharge and caused the charge to explode on impact. Later armourers filled these bombs with fragments of lead to produce a leaden "squirt", the dreaded "case shots". whose supercharge inflicted ghastly injuries on the enemy over a wide area. Cannons of this calibre were ideal for use as fortress artillery in the bombardment of military camps and advancing armed units.

絆 means "emotional ties", 感 means "feel".

EN project has just organized by many athletes and artists who live or relate to Hokkaido, and they aim to support the victims of Great Eastern Japan earthquake. Here is their first competition.

Kamloops Hoodoos and Where is Waldo? I mean Where are the sheep?

I created another Craigslist project for myself. And this one is much more involved, but it's coming along. It's a 30s, bird's eye maple dinette. Needed refinishing and reupholstering. The chairs are finally done and now I'm moving onto the table. This set was a lot more work than I anticipated!

Project G fighter 4 of 5.

Built by Zaximillian Aerospace, the FS-41G Banshee are two-engine multirole fourth-generation starfighters based on the FS-29 Spirit fuselage design.

The Banshee's weapons are built for short duration close combat and strafing runs. Under the nose, it carries a Strelnikov M-27 Moloboyets system that can fire Plasma Bullets and Blasters. Mounted at the bases of the wings are two Sasada Type 80 Tiadoroppu-X weapons. Their firing pattern in a Vulcan Cannon capacity is a storm of shots in a "teardrop" pattern in a cloud around the front of the craft. In its Wide Bullet capacity, the system fires a flowing, widening weave of two strands of shots forward. The Caliban Corporation designed new SIM-87 Superwasp II missiles for the Banshee, mounted above and below the prongs. Another unusual weapon is the Okumura Type 99 Ringstar Multi-Blaster Launcher System. When fired, instead of launching the Plasma Blaster shots toward the enemy, they are launched in a static ring around the craft and act as static and very destructive mines. Four weapons points at the nose of the craft remain unidentified and classified, along with two two very large cannons encased inside the prongs.

The Banshee first took flight in 2794, replacing the FS-37 Spectre in the family of "quicker" configuration roles assigned to starfighters of the United Earth Fleet. The quicker role relies on speed and defensive capability to launch weapons payload at very close range. This reliance on speed and agility means that the Banshee is not very well armored, and is best used in the hands of trained pilots. This is also reflected in the Gauss-8S defensive shield by Unimoc, which was built for its integrity recovery speed.

Its engines give it maneuverability and dodging speed that is legendary in the Fleet. Rumors exist of this craft moving so quickly that shots that should have impacted the shields simply skate right off the surface. Likely, these are stories by pilots whose reflexes are much slower than that of the craft itself.

As of 2795, like the other craft before it, 53 of the FS-41G Banshee have been manufactured and assigned to a single fighter squadron, the VSA-32 Fireballers.

(Build note: This craft is an evolution of Peter L. Morris' Varaxian, seen here: www.flickr.com/photos/rival_m/3020381960/ and evolved with his permission for inclusion in Project G.)
