I managed to find some time to start a project I have been thinking about loads lately :)

Can you guess what I am making?

As usual, I'm behind on posting my Project 365 images, at this point, about 2-weeks worth. It's odd knowing what was happening in these images now, and posting them after-the-fact. This is my first day in McCall of an 8-day stretch which proved to be my mom's last days.

Here we go...

My TPS365 photo story has come to an end. Like all good Fairy tales there have been good times and not so good times!! Nearly giving up on a few occasions.

This 365 project has given me a visual diary of the year. Many of these pictures would not have been taken if I hadn't taken on this project.

Some days were more difficult than others but I continued to get inspiration by pushing myself to go out of my comfort zone and use a more creative eye.

I tried to look for something new, inspiring me to be more creative with my images. Well some times!!!!! lol

I have learnt more about photoshop and other plugins enjoying building on my own Picketted enhances. (as Marcus would say)

Above all I am inspired by all the other images from the group and on Flickr a world full of inspiration.

Thanks for all your comments and inspiration to keep me motivated.

My wish to you all as Fairy God Mother is keep taking those fab pics and sharing them with me.

I now look forward to next year a little more relaxed with our TPS52 project.

I also want to revisit many images taken this year I didn’t have time to edit to post on flickr.

Happy New Year to you all

P.S You all know what I am going to be doing every day after buying this book in a charity shop today!!!!

Winter can be brutal, but for some it is unbearable. Take this man for instance, who trying to go about his business on a Saturday finds that life is actually quite complicated when you cannot breathe because of the air quality.

We believe in clean air for everyone. The right to breathe is, well, right.

Projects for the April 2016 issue of the Bustle & Sew Magazine

I won this 1974 Polaroid SX-70 Model 2 in an auction that I bid on and forgot about until it showed up on my doorstep.

Reskinning took around two hours from start to finish. The new skin is well-made recycled leather but not as thick as the original fake leather, which you can see from the first photo was discolored and crumbly.

Probably should have run some film through first to see if it was worth putting in the effort, but it was a fun if messy project.

che ci parlano di noi,

amiche,

nella luce che si smorza

The Heidelberg Project is an outdoor art project in Detroit, created in 1986 by Tyree Guyton as an attempt to bring back life and people in his childhood neighborhood, which at the time had become a dangerous place to walk, even during daytime. He and other volunteers have been working daily all these years to involve children in workshops and developped the whole area with a community garden and a creative art center, amongst others.

Sadly, a series of arson fires started earlier this year and amplified in the second half of november, so that no less than five houses of the project have been destroyed these last weeks. Only three houses now remain, and even if Tyree and the people from the community are not willing to give up, with only that few houses still standing it's unsure how the project will be able to go on.

For Week 3's Project Runway Challenge the designers were asked to design a piece for a model on stilts for the first ever outdoor runway show.

For the EtsyMetal Translation:

Since this challenge was all about going over the top, this week make it BIG, over the top, larger and crazier than you would normally do, but still trying to keep it wearable and fashionable.

This BIG bracelet is made from polymer clay. It weighs a mere 9 ounces.

Thank you, EtsyMetal for letting me join the challenge this week!

This lunchtime I walked along the waterfront as far as the statue I think of as 'Solly'. Then I walked back again.

Max Patte's 'Solace of the Wind' (2008) leans north into the harbour's harsh gales while displaying its own inner tranquility. (Info from www.sculptures.org.nz/#/tours/waterfront-tour/solace-of-t...).
