Amsterdam Light Festival, a project called O, standing for a circle with no end or no beginning. The yellow circle stands for the sun, the blue one for the moon. As a git, the moon was there to support me.
Through my studies I got inspired in creating images in the sense of "construction through deconstruction". For that I am starting a long term experimental project called "Destruction": Instead of manipulating pictures via modern software tools, it is rather done through experiments with the actual hardware like the camera itself.
This photograph is the first one of the series: I used lens tilting to distort the motif of flowers in a meadow
Clay food
My son was working on a clay pig for school, so I made these while he made his pig. Still have to paint these. I had been hoping I would run into my water colors, but I'm afraid I might have thrown them away. Probably dried out.

(Working on projects. I like to keep about a thousand active projects going at once. Have to be careful to start a bunch more right when I’m about to finish one.)
That embroidered felt cloche I’m copying for Navia made me realize I needed to practice embroidery more. So how about some little headbands to match another project, and of course some matching embroidered boot spats??
It snowed, so that means I really want to get out the doll horses. The weather has been just too cold to do it, but that’s given me time to put together some country riding outfits?

Another shot taken at the Tate Modern. There was actually only half a sun set against a giant mirrored ceilling to give the illusion of a complete circle.

This is one that I've had "for ever". I must have had it from a very young age and it has always looked much like this. Not one of my repaints as I would have been too young so maybe it was a hand-me-down from a cousin. The roof is loose and falls out which is possibly how it escaped being painted red too.

Hey you guys, I know this is the prettiest shot I have ever took.
No really, I only needed to update, so, the past month or so we've been working on a project/ presentation. It's the biggest we've done so far, as you can see it was about "AlHamra Tower" the one we've been on the field trip to, it has inspired us a lot.
On Tuesday, we had most of the visual and edible work done. I have never been to so many places in one day, three printing shops, three chocolate shops, and a stop to get a frozen yogurt.
So today was the awaited presentation day, we did pretty good, it was an interesting topic to most of the student, I loved watching their expressions wile giving the presentation, hehe. So the Dr. loved the chocolate, that's a good thing right? And I asked her at the end if she liked it and she said "You did a very great job". I am satisfied now. El7emdellah.
PS: This is the skyscraper we did our project about, for more info visit their website . I need to get payed for this! =P

Twice I've walked around town in the rain lately but the people in my town were not being at all co-operative when it came to witty and clever 2D things happening (I blame half-term ;) ) so this will have to do. I dunno .. a dog last week .. a cat this week ..
