Le château est sur la commune de Saint-Front-sur-Lémance, mais il est la propriété de la commune de Fumel.
La construction du château fort de Bonaguil débute au XII siècle mais à subit par la suite, beaucoup de remaniement, notamment par le baron Bérenger de Roquefeuil. A son achèvement, vers 1510, il apparaît comme obsolète car suite au progrès de l'artillerie, les châteaux fort sont peu à peu abandonné au profit des châteaux d'agréments (ceux de la Loire en sont un très belle exemple). Cela ne l'a pas empêché de traverser les siècles et fut habité jusqu'à la révolution.

The construction of the Bonaguil castle began in the XII century following, by much reshuffle, including Baron Bérenger de Roquefeuil. A completion, towards 1510, it appears as obsolete because following the artillery, the castles are gradually abandoned in favor of the castles of amenities. This does not prevent it from going through the centuries and having lived until the revolution.

There is this family of Mute Swans that have taken up residence in a river near me. It's been interesting observing the progress of the young family.
In this case, the mother is watching over two of her cygnets, as they are keenly watching the Mallard duck close by!

Il y a cette famille de cygnes muets qui a élu domicile dans une rivière près de chez moi. C'était intéressant d'observer les progrès de la jeune famille.
Dans ce cas, la mère veille sur deux de ses cygnets, car ils surveillent attentivement le canard colvert à proximité!

Près d’un mois maintenant s’est écoulé depuis la sortie des aînés de la nichée. La croissance et les progrès des bébés petits ducs maculés dans les jours qui suivent leur sortie du nid est remarquable. Ils prennent de l’assurance, volent aisément sur une certaine distance, toujours sous la surveillance de leurs parents. Je les retrouve un matin, perchés dans les arbres de la garderie ! Les enfants fascinés par ces petits hiboux qui les observent attentivement, aucunement dérangés par les éclats de voix et les cris de joie de ceux ci. C’était absolument attendrissant comme scène ! me voilà assise par terre répondant aux questions plus que pertinentes des enfants ! Du bonheur.
It is incredible to witness how fast the babies grow and mature within a month of their coming out of the nest. I find them one morning resting in the trees in the playground of a daycare centre. The kids were fascinated by the little owls, fully awaken and aware of their presence, not at all disturbed by their loud and joyful noises ! Here I am sitting on the ground, answering very pertinent questions from those little kids ! truly amazing moment !

NB: Ce petit a été surnommé Rouquinet par mon ami Sylvain Messier, facile à reconnaître par sa plume adulte visible du côté gauche (this little one was named Rouquinet by my friend Sylvain Messier, easy to recognize, he as a very visible adult feather in his duvet.

El barri badaloní del Progrés, escenari de les novel·les de Julià de Jòdar, va mudant la pell cada dia. Un anunci d'un centre d'estètica reflecteix uns velles parets mitjeres, al carrer Indústria. La força del que és únic --la vella finca, avui ja anècdota entre els nous blocs-- ho té difícil davant l'omnipresència de la còpia --aquest anunci barat però amb un poder indiscutiblement multiplicador. La capacitat de reinventar-se caracteritza totes les ciutats. Però la capacitat de reinventar-se a partir de la singularitat és només pròpia de les grans; de les grans ciutats.
