CIFOR-ICRAF Country Coordinator Maimbo Malesu, Interim Site Coordinator for Zambia Nathalie Van Vliet, FAO Representative and SWM Programme Regional Coordinator Jean-Claude Urvoy, along with the SWM Programme team in Zambia, conducted a monitoring mission to assess Phase I activities. Meetings and site visits focused on reviewing community-level progress, emphasizing targets, responsibilities, and collaborative efforts for sustainable wildlife conservation in the upcoming Phase II.

The UKEEP programme, which was developed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and was supported by the EU, has helped Ukrainian enterprises reduce dependency on gas and cutting down on CO2 emissions by implementing energy efficiency measures. The programme is part of the EU4Energy Initiative.

Our colleague, Nick Bunyan, is holding a session on module 5 (blended learning) on the PgCert in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education with academic lecturers as participants.
Young people on the Give and Take Scheme are currently taking part in a six week course on drugs and alcohol facilitated by FASA. This session was all about the effects of smoking.
