As in previous years, the Trade Facilitation Programme (TFP) of the EBRD invited its
members and everyone interested in the topic of international and intra-regional trade finance banking to attend the annual TFP event within the framework of the Annual Meeting. TFP currently includes over 100 Issuing Banks in the EBRD region and more than 800 Confirming Banks worldwide. In the last two years, the Programme provided essential support to its members and secured substantial flows of trade finance transactions under crisis-ridden market conditions. This year’s one-day event organised in a conference format offered a unique opportunity to share contemporary trade finance banking expertise including trends, specifics, and intricacies through presentations by professional trade finance bankers and specialists. The event also provided the stage for signing agreements with banks that have recently joined and hosted an award ceremony for the most active TFP banks of 2011
United Nation of Nepal bid farewell to 19 trainees of UN Traineeship Programme - Cohort VIII. The 11-month traineeship programme was to train and mentor trainees from socially excluded groups in different areas of Child Protection, Culture, Developmental Research and Documentation, Education, Emergency Preparedness/Disaster Risk Reduction, Environment, Human Rights/Law etc.
At the graduation ceremony UN Resident Coordinator Sara Beysolow Nyanti expressed how fulfilling it was to see the dream that UN had in 2006/2007 are now reality with marginalized groups having more access; and how she was part of it back then, and seeing the fruits of it today. Meanwhile, UNWOMEN trainee Dia Yonjan shared her experiences of traineeship and explained how trainees got to witness and contribute to the immense and important work of the UN in humanitarian field.

Page from the theatre programme for a production of "The Gondoliers" at the Hippodrome Theatre, Keighley, staged by Keighley Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society in April / May 1951. This page includes a list of KAODS officials.
The 40-page programme was printed by The Keighley Printers Ltd. of High Street, Keighley. It measures approximately 180mm by 237mm. The programme was part of an anonymous donation given in 2022.

The Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre officially opened on Saturday the 29th of June, 1963.
That same evening, the theatre was also dedicated as a War Memorial to the fallen of two World Wars.
The audience were treated to a recital on the theatre's Hammond Organ by Sydney organist Cecil Cranfield, a first act consisting of an excerpt of John Patrick's "The Teahouse of the August Moon", performed by the Wagga Wagga School of Arts, and a second act of song and dance by The Theatre Club Revue.

OUR P.F.A STUDENT WING MEMBERS ARE BUSY IN VACCINATION PROGRAMME
We have been carrying out animal health check-up and vaccination camps since 2003 in surrounding 10 villages for farm animals. Every year we are doing 400-500 vaccinations fo farm animals per village, averaging 2000-3000 animals annually

The event gave 250 guests the opportunity to review and discuss current market challenges with key industry specialists, regulators and representatives from the World Trade Organization, the International Chamber of Commerce HQ and the local, national ICC committees industry. It also featured the highly popular annual award ceremony for ‘The Most Active EBRD TFP Banks’ and ‘Deal of the Year’.

Picture taken from the Nestlé Healthy Kids Programme – Ajyal Salima at the Makassed Khalil Chehab School in Beirut. The School has been integrating the curriculum into classroom subjects since 2011 to help kids acquire nutrition knowledge and promote positive eating behavior. A 2014 study by the American University of Beirut showed improved diets, healthier eating habits and increased nutritional understanding among students who participated in the programme. Today the Programme is part of the Lebanese Ministry of Education’s school health unit curriculum for public schools. Nestlé Middle East has also rolled it out in Dubai and Saudi Arabia. The programme curriculum has been scientifically developed by the American University of Beirut, and is a member of the EPODE International Network.
Coolock Junior Library was alive with music, dance, storytelling, dialogue and art for the month of July, hosting a number of events as part of the "Many Faces, Many Places" intercultural 2008 programme. As part of an art workshop, children designed and created decorative umbrellas based on images from different cultures.

Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, and Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, visited the Commonwealth Youth Programme’s regional centre in the Solomon Islands as part of their Diamond Jubilee tour of Southeast Asia and the Pacific.
The Duke addressed young people from 12 Pacific countries at the start of the Commonwealth Pacific Youth Leadership and Integrity Conference in Honiara on 17 September.

Programme Pages 10 and 11: This running event was a 7.4 miles round-the-houses race in Cheltenham starting in 1964 until about 1991. It attracted the best road runners in England and formed a part of the then Cheltenham Festival of the time.
The 2018 UNEVOC TVET Leadership Programme was launched today at the UNESCO-UNEVOC International Centre, Bonn. 19 mid- to senior-level TVET leaders from UNEVOC Centres and other institutions from 18 countries around the world are participating in the programme. The programme aims to enable the participants to hone their leadership skills through nine modules guided by key international experts in a highly engaging environment.
