During a Native American history-themed sleepover at the National Archives in Washington, DC, 101 kids and their grown-ups spent the night enjoying history-related activities, learning from special guests actor Martin Sensmeier, Jim Thorpe historians Bob Wheeler and Flo Ridlon, and Native American storyteller Perry Ground. After sleeping over night in the Rotunda, participants enjoyed a pancake breakfast made by the Archivist of the United States, David S. Ferriero, on October 14, 2018.

The United States Air Force Band String Quartet held a special concert on May 8, 2016 for His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, Her Majesty Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk, and other invited guests to commemorate a performance that took place on May 9, 1956 in Phnom Penh at the invitation of the late King Norodom Suramarit and Queen Sisowath Monivong Kossomak Nearireath Serei Watana.
Joined by two Cambodian artists, The United States Air Force Band String Quartet played a mix of American, European, and Cambodian music, including two pieces by King Sihanouk that premiered in 1956.
The musicians concluded the 60th Anniversary Concert with a special birthday message for HM King Norodom Sihamoni and a heart-warming encore performance of "Monika" in honor of HM Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk.

The fonts are Zapfino (cursive-style), and Engravers MT with Modern No. 20 mixed in for the serif font.

FORT INDIANTOWN GAP, Pa. -- The Pennsylvania National Guard's Child and Youth Program coordinated the wrapping of donated toys for more than 600 children of Pennsylvania National Guard members, Dec. 13, 2012. The toys are donated by several sources through a partnership between Operation Homefront, Dollar Tree, the Xerox Corporation and individuals. Over 215 volunteers, including guard members and members from the local community and community organizations, assisted with wrapping the gifts. The PNG's Child and Youth Program also hosted a Stocking Stuffer Surprise event at the installation where over 130 PNG members picked up donated stocking stuffers for their children. Brighter Bites is a collaborative effort designed to improve access to healthy, affordable food and provide nutrition education. The University of Texas School of Public Health, KIPP Schools, the Houston Food Bank and Texas Children's Hospital have partnered to offer the 16-week program to third-grade children enrolled at KIPP Explore Academy and their parents. As you can see from the photos, those healthy kale smoothies are a hit!

I've gotten a rough version of my texture font class running on OpenGL ES, it was heavily display list based so some rewriting was necessary.
Warner Bros. released it's 1935 production of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream" to much fanfare, with professional-looking theatrical programs given to attendees at the cinema.
This one dates to c. 1936 at the Warner Theatre in Morgantown, WV.

Our Kids programs are huge. We designed the and supported staff training for the 4-h camp at Bryant Pond for almost ten years, we have also designed programs for scouts, homeschoolers, and military dependents. Our school is a hands on, experiential learning facility. Our Childrens Programs Director is a Certified Teacher, Eagle Scout, and Instructor with us since 1995.
