We bought this rug at a garage sale and it has a mysterious smell - I think it might be stale cigarette smoke, but can't quite determine what exactly it is. It's been out on the back porch for at least a month in hopes that it will air out. So far, that hasn't happened.
Had a flash of an idea today that it would make a cool backdrop.

This Supreme Court term saw several high-profile cases in which the court adjudicated labor issues. The Janus decision, with its implications for public sector unions, and the Epic Systems decision, regarding the use of private arbitration, drew the media’s attention this year. Somewhat less widely covered were important decisions of lower courts, which have been adjudicating issues such as the validity of non-compete agreements, whether non-poach agreements among franchisees are legal, and what defines when a worker must be considered an employee. While these and other employment-related court rulings can seem technical or dry, the impact of these rulings will be felt by virtually everyone with a job: the over 150 million wage and salary workers in the United States.

On this hike, we started at the Highwood Pass which is 2200 meters above sea level, climb about 450 M and then head out on a ridge where we ascend some minor peaks, and then take a long descent to a point almost 300 meters below where we started.
This is a profile picture I made for Second Life in September 2008. Here, I'm in my dragon cave on the sim Enoch. The wood behind me covers an underwater area. The dragon avatar I'm using in the snapshot is one I took a lot of time and effort to modify, mixing parts from different dragon avatars.
Sadly, a few months later the entire avatar's folder just vanished, having been lost by Linden Lab's poorly-designed asset servers.
