I decided to start taking more photos of her again. I haven't shot for fun in a while, and I want to start doing it again. So here you go, I love her expression.
Pierre the emu had a great time today at Brooksby Farm's annual fall festival, with many kids feeding him treats. There were so many people that it was hard to get his attention, despite my own offerings of treats.
At the Lotus Pond there were quite a few dragonflies but most of them kept their distance, apparently not wanting their picture taken so early in the day.
Fortunately this one, which appears to be a male Slaty Skimmer, was kind enough to land on one of the nearby stalks and offer his profile.

The first fire is lit inside NG/G16 129 at Belgrave workshops. The South African icon was relaunched into service in December 2019 after a protracted restoration.
