Obirin University professor, Akira Kato, concluded his year-long residency as a Visiting Scholar with a program highlighting his research at the East-West Center in Washington.
He explained his views on the underlying causes of crisis in the US-Japan alliance and offered recommendations on how to "anchor the drift."
