I was in the midst of taking a different photo, when I found this tiny nest inside a plantpot by the tree that had fallen in my garden.
So it wasn't intentional to post two hand shots in a row. Sorry if you have a hand phobia... I'm sure they exist... If people can be afraid of buttons they can definitely be afraid of hands...

I'm trying to write an "about me" and answer some questions for a new magazine that said they would like to use my photos, but all my answers sound so bloomin' serious and unlike me. I don't know if I should stick to my usual idiotic writing style, for the luls, or write it like I'm all profesh and stuff.

still in seattle, starting a new job at an addiction recovery center next week, luvin life. been real focused on practicing putting myself first for once, been chill. i eat vegetables now. pretty cool.
more important is i'm dumping facebook, just done me more harm than good and i want to stop complaining abt it lol. my photo page was the only reason i was keeping it around but i'm gonna be making a website so i can start putting my photos and drawings in one clean, easy place. gonna b real phresh & profesh. i'll let yall know when that's done obviously. probably gonna continue to get less active on social media in general (catch me on tumblr tho i got a need for memes). just ain't my scene no mo & that's fine. wanna stop forcing it.

At Moraine Yard near Dayton, I found this SD40-2 that has been hastily renumbered and lettered for our beloved NS; apparently, with a can of Krylon. It appears to be a former HLCX leaser. As my teenage daughter would say, it looks "profesh."

My interview dress
I interviewed for at least half-a-dozen positions over the spring and summer. Every time, I wore this dress with a blazer and a button-front shirt. Now, I think of this as my getting-down-to-business dress.
This sleeveless, trench dress has been a workhorse. It travels well and looks super-profesh (even if I don’t always succeed at those things). I’m having fun wearing different shirts and dresses underneath for a fresh OOTD every time. Today, I’m wearing a skin-tight crop top underneath, but you’d never know. Instead, I just look ready for business.

I've been meaning to wipe him for over a year, but the weather was so bad I never had the chance. We've had a couple of super nice days though so I'm going to bite the bullet and go for it.
I need to get the love back for this guy, he's never going anywhere so I might as well put my personal touch to him like Fin and Eden have.
(Eden's getting wiped too btw but that's not a big deal around here xD)
Finnian has a makeshift bandage on because the magnet came out of his hand last October and it keeps falling off. It doesn't actually do much for holding it on it's more to remind me that I need to glue it. Obviously it hasn't worked in that respect either >x>;;; I'll get round to it one day!
WHAT WILL VAN LOOK LIKE. A horrid monstrosity, probably. One last group hug with a Van with a profesh faceup that's not poop.

Two years of searching for and buying camera bags I was never completely happy with. I think I've finally found the one. Domke bags are great, they only have padding where you need it, on the bottom, so the bag is pretty much as big as whats inside. This is a F3-X, I can pack all my gear into it, but when I go light it can very comfortably hold what I need and feel near empty. I also have a Domke F2 which can hold all my gear and more, which I use for heavy shooting (like weddings) its also my storage of whats not being used in my F3-X, and its blue so it looks more profesh.
The canvas material of these bags also looks and wears great, I'm sure this will serve me well for many years to come. Only down side to these, is that they can get a bit pricey, but its the last bag you'll buy.

I made a soft box.
And it is fantastical! Well it looks a bit cruddy...it's made out of a cardboard box that I painted with green pixely squares to make into a Minecraft Creeper costume, but it works fine.
I figured I take photos more often than I wear cardboard clothes so... ya doo what ya gotta do...

All you need to make a soft box is cardboard, tinfoil, gaffa tape and wax paper/any other thin paper And a light to pop it over.
Doesn't look too profesh' but it does a half decent job. :)

Whoo, first time Ive taken a photo that had NO dust or spots whatso-freaking-ever, got my beloved Canon back from having a good old clean and this was taken on a beautiful 24-70 2.8L which I have hired from LensPimp for wedding tomorrow.
Also... I nipped into town, thought I was collecting my contact lenses from the post office but the package turned out to be a 'Profesh Wedding book', thanks for the loan Ken, I better go read up!

REAL tilt shift.
So this guy (www.owenphoto.com) came to watch us do our bike shoot. He's a profesh photog. and we got to ask him questions and stuff. So I was like, "What kind of camera and lenses do you have?" So he showed me his 5D and a few of his lenses. Then he was like, "..and THIS one is a special lens that will give you a cool effect of blur... blah blah..." i can't remember what he said. Then i was like, "Tilt shift?!?" and he was like, "YAH!" and i was like "omgzz. can i try it?" and he was like, "Yeahh dude!" -- not really. but yeah.

One of the earlier heats of the contest, she's just climbing out of the water after smoking the competition! I think I was the only photog yelling and cheering her on during her heats... which I know isn't very profesh of me but... hey, its freakin MEGAN ABUBO! She's pretty dope, she seems pretty down to earth, anyway. But still way outta my league. It was like my tongue curled up into a double knot every time she walked past me. Try as I might, just to say hello or wish her good luck... "nuhnuhnuhnuhnnuhh..."
