Bone procurement workshop was organised to train local surgeons especially orthopaedic in performing procurement surgery on deceased donors. This training is intended to increase pool of trained surgeon in hoping that it will improve coordination and prevent delay in handling deceased donors. 3 cadavers were used in an hands on practical session. The workshop is an inter agencies collaboration between the Malaysian Society of Cell and Tissue Banking (MACTB), Department of Orthopaedic University Malaysia, MAHSA University, Transplant Unit Ministry of Health and National Transplant Resource Centre. The Ministry sponsored 39 participants in this workshop. Lectures were mostly delivered by local speakers and we invited Prof Aziz Nether from the National University of Singapore.

23 décembre 2021. ONU Femmes Sénégal, en partenariat avec l'Autorité de Régulation des Marchés Publics du Sénégal (ARMP) a organisé une session de formation dont l'objectif est de sensibiliser/former des agents publics des autorités contractantes sur les questions de passation des marchés sensibles au genre et les mécanismes de prise en compte du genre dans la commande publique.
La Banque Mondiale, en collaboration avec ONU Femmes au Sénégal, pilote un projet financé par l’initiative pour le financement de l’entreprenariat féminin - We-Fi (Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative) intitulé « Lier les besoins en matière de commande publique avec les Petites et Moyennes Entreprises (PME) gérées par les femmes au Sénégal ». Le projet a pour objectif de contribuer à la croissance des PME gérées par les femmes (PMEF) en améliorant leur accès aux marchés publics, entre autres, ainsi qu'au renforcement des capacités.
Au Sénégal, les marchés publics représentaient 17% du PIB en 2017 ; les femmes représentent 31 % des propriétaires d'entreprises au Sénégal ; et les PME représentent la quasi-totalité des entreprises au Sénégal (les grandes entreprises ne représentent que 0,2 % de toutes les unités économiques). Le marché des commandes publiques offre donc une opportunité majeure pour promouvoir l'égalité des sexes au Sénégal, surtout que les PME sont déjà bien représentées parmi les bénéficiaires des marchés publics. Cependant, la connaissance des marchés publics parmi les PMEF reste faible : tel que révélé par le recensement général des entreprises de 2017, seuls 12 % des entrepreneurs individuels – la catégorie où les femmes sont les plus représentées - en ont connaissance.
