This is an iPad painting, made with a beta version of iColorama Procreate, and a little Snapseed. It is a collaboration with Gail. It started as a picture of a little girl in zombie make up, and I took it in another direction.
This is a full resolution file of an image posted sometime late September, or early October. I had neglected to notice the earlier versions were downsized. I appolgise to my friends for not realizing my mistake.
Not an exact likeness (I need more portrait practice)! This was done on an iPad3 in ProCreate using the charcoal brushes I recently purchased.

I seem to have a radius at which bees don’t bother me. I never know how big that radius is on any given day.
My mom says that when I was little, another mom was freaking out at a child getting stung, and she thinks this is when the phobia started.
Thought I’d have a bit of fun with it. Procreate on iPad Pro with apple pencil. I also used face model app as a reference. References are OK! Artists have been using them for ages! It’s not more noble to not use references. Hahaha had to say that. Had an art teacher who implied that you just had to be that good.
Our scheduled model canceled. So we sat in a circle an drew each other. Theses were all done with #Procreate on my iPad.
