Procreate app on iPad

A few flurries outside ....

Playing on the iPad inside.

This is an iPad painting, made with a beta version of iColorama and Procreate. I used an image from Sabine's collection, one of Isadora Duncan at the Parthenon by Edward Steichen, sunflower, a moon, and a color wheel from Goethe.

This is a full resolution file of an image posted sometime late September, or early October. I had neglected to notice the earlier versions were downsized. I appolgise to my friends for not realizing my mistake.

This is an iPad painting, made with a beta version of iColorama Procreate, and a little Snapseed. It is a collaboration with Gail. It started as a picture of a little girl in zombie make up, and I took it in another direction.

Not an exact likeness (I need more portrait practice)! This was done on an iPad3 in ProCreate using the charcoal brushes I recently purchased.

I seem to have a radius at which bees don’t bother me. I never know how big that radius is on any given day.

My mom says that when I was little, another mom was freaking out at a child getting stung, and she thinks this is when the phobia started.

Thought I’d have a bit of fun with it. Procreate on iPad Pro with apple pencil. I also used face model app as a reference. References are OK! Artists have been using them for ages! It’s not more noble to not use references. Hahaha had to say that. Had an art teacher who implied that you just had to be that good.

ipad太舊,本體畫到一半很難再畫,其餘部分用PS替代,很難稱得上是完成品

I don't know why this makes me laugh so much. Drew this for Inktober, then colored it on my iPhone

Procreate App, Snapseed App

This is an iPad painting, made with a beta version of iColorama and Procreate. I used several of Annie's photographs as sources to make this.

Painted mostly with the digital Gesinski Ink brush in Procreate (iPad app), afterwards modified in iPhoto. The overall effect reminds me of some collages that use nothing but torn pieces of paper that have varying degrees of show through, like tissue papers and some rice papers and thinner handmade papers (my father worked for many years as an engineer in pulp and paper research and would show me strange and interesting papers he made from plants seldom if ever used for paper in the U.S.).
