I am very good at falling asleep when there is housework or other boring jobs to be done . . .

I'm supposed to be packing for my camping trip but I have managed to read a book, play computer games, eat a bowl of veggies and find my sombrero rather than actually get ready for my trip. Maybe I'll get done what needs to be done later? Maybe after a nap.
I was suppose to be studying for finals and ended up with this. Pretty out of my norm but a great way to waste time.
Secret #3: This is my 3rd secret...my 2nd was back in October...shhh don't tell.

I am a terrible procrastinator, why do something today when I can put it off until tomorrow. This year I have decided to get things done, so to get things off to a bit of a late start, I put away the Christmas stuff even though its a heatwave and the room isn't air-conditioned. Now what's next on my list?
You know that you are going mad when you are sifting through a pile of nonpareils and commenting to yourself that you never realized how different they all were. Some were mishapen, some had uneven color, some were smaller or larger.... 200 photos later, here I am. Not my best week ever. So much to do but photography makes me happy, and it's hard to stop doing it for things that don't make me happy. The laundry awaits....
This is what I did this morning instead of doing all the things I should have been doing.

Nothing romantic unless washing the car counts. I filled up the bucket, and hey! those bubbles could be a photo :-) Score!! another 10 minute delay in starting my chores :-)
Procrastinating. Again.
I'm just so tired of school. I don't have the motivation anymore to work hard, even on the simple stuff. I could be a better student if I just applied myself, but I just won't. I'm so burnt out. NEED SUMMER.
I am living in an illusion of getting ahead, feeling of being in control of my future, sense of being highly productive. But when I sit back and think I have a different feeling about myself.
Lets Imagine living a life where you are always in a hurry, stressed out and never able to relax. visualize going on a vacation not knowing how to be still and do nothing. Picturing this might not be too difficult for you. In fact. it may be hitting so close. If you can relate to this, then you may be suffering from addiction to "Busyness", just like me.
We are trading real joy for fake joy. This is time to ask question, not hunt for answers. When was the last time I felt liveliness? If I actually got "ahead", would I pause and rest a little...or just keep pressing forward to get even more "ahead"? Most of the people I know that are running around busy all the time, trying to be in control, actually appear the most out of control. Instead of having a balanced life, one thing usually dominates their life and everything else suffers.
Its time to start up living a new, rejoicing life. Its time to memorize all those times when you felt like you really lived. Its time to reflect back those moments which has brought that chill in the spine making a deep impression which is still remembered. For me, it was the time when I landed at Karimabad Zero Point and had my first glance at the Baltit fort.
Ricky : "Mom.. We leave for BlytheCon San Francisco at 4:30am tomorrow. I'm assuming that you are all packed and ready to go because you're leisurely working on a new doll.."
Me : "No.. I haven't packed yet..."
Ricky : "MOM!! Go pack your bags! That new doll can wait. We've got to be ready to go very early!!"
Me: "Isn't she cute though? I really would like to finish her today.."
Ricky : "Omg."
Right now I should be writing a 10 page psych essay...but i'm a high school student. procrastinating is what we do best :)

It's been a while since my last upload.
Anyway, yesterday i did my very first photo-shoot, it was for a couple of friends from school, i guess i took some pretty good photos, i'n not sure if i'll upload any whatsoever.
I took this photo while watching a couple of friends play football ( which i'm not into, in anyway ) so i just kept taking random photos, A LOT of photos. i liked this one, it kinda shows how kinda bored i was, i was procrastinating till i get outta their.
I tried some different post-processing techniques in here.
& i've deleted some of the photos on my Flickr. The "Upgrade to Pro for more than 200 photos" thing sucks. But i realized they were never good anyway, i don't know how i liked them before.

Started with half a boot...ended with a trophy. Some nights I have absolutely no idea where I'm heading, but pretty happy with the result I guess. I also retrieved my old cameras too in case they offered more interesting subject matter but they sat on the sidelines. This was severely underexposed to catch the gold detail and just added a watermark , so after the initial procrastination, pretty much SOOC. Gotta be happy with anything approaching that! :)
Catch up with all your posts soon ...
Procrastination struck again, and I only started building this yesterday... And I really can't think of anything to say.
Anyway credit for the fir tree and the elk goes to the Falworth brothers.
Thanks for looking, C&C is appreciated.
Have a wonderful day.

Let this be a cautionary tale to any of you kids out there on the dangers of Procrastination. This is what might happen to YOU, if you wait until the last day of the week to try and get a picture for "Magic Light". You invariably get the shittiest day of the week.
And by the way, Matt is out of town (with no computer access), so I had to let him know what the challenge of the week is in advance. Please see the discussion board for next weeks topic. Sorry if I stepped on anyones toes and went out of turn.
