Inside view of generative channel system, programmed in processing using some toxiclibs but mostly straight forward vertex shapes. Channels are created by following pixel paths from light to dark in images, simulating water flow.
Clock programmed using Processing. The 'planets' follow the hour, minute, and second hand, whilst the gradients change hue gradually each minute. The gradient is produced by changing the HSB values, with brightness highest for the outer ring and becoming darker by 10% for each ring towards the centre.
The photo is about ship recycling process. Where dockyard worker break old ships and make them totally new. This is risky work. But they have to do it for earning money.

When I go on holiday, as well as getting some nice shots to set the scene, but I also like to get some shots of the local people. Come to think of it, even in London I still try and get the odd portraiture shot. I think I prefer the travel photography though, at least that way I get to fly around the world.
I was walking through a square in Marrakech, just outside the main souks. I saw this man in the shadows in the corner and I loved how the latticework shadows were falling across him. I got on the telephoto lens and snapped a few shots from the other side of the square. He's looking directly at me in this shot, but I'm not too sure if he knew I was actually taking his photo, as I was quite far away.
This really needs to be seen large, as the shadows look a bit confusing otherwise. Try it and see for yourself!

Ageing is a natural process. Everyone must undergo this phase of life at his or her own time and pace. In the broader sense, ageing reflects all the changes taking place over the course of life. These changes start from birthāone grows, develops and attains maturity. To the young, ageing is exciting. Middle age is the time when people notice the age-related changes like greying of hair, wrinkled skin and a fair amount of physical decline. Even the healthiest, aesthetically fit cannot escape these changes. Slow and steady physical impairment and functional disability are noticed resulting in increased dependency in the period of old age.
Sunday morning breakfast, not looking forward to the "housework" today.
processed--I'm curious to know which people like better, this or the unprocessed version.
This was the version processed by my flickr contact Coroner....he was able to brighten up the image without blowing out the brightest parts. I love Lightroom but you can't do spot adjustments, just make adjustments to the overall image. At least I don't think you can....
Coroner is a great flickr friend that's been an inspiration! Be sure to check out his stream
An experiment with split toning in Adobe Lightroom, creating a cross-processed look very easily and intuitively.
I Started these kids yesterday afternoon (including sanding, blah). They are in the very early stages so know that are far from being done. So far they are turning out alright. :)
