I would complain that the label facing a different direction was troubling, but at this point, it's really just funny. See the next picture for the troubling part.
This was used at the Guthrie as part of a set for Mice and Men. It's a long story how it ended up in my office, but now it's going to move on to it's next home.
Details (as I know them): This is painted celastic over beautiful, aged, clear cedar boards. The painting was aged/distressed using acetone to get the "old" look.

I always laugh when I talk to people about places to go in Milwaukee. The reason is that , The Safehouse seen just down this alley is toward the top of the list. The thing that makes me laugh is that not only is it not that easy to find or notice for that matter, and you need to know the password to get in (or perform some mildly embarrassing task) it's still a great place to go.
