I'm not saying that I found them that way, but purely for the sake of comparison, we put the little one on mom. The loggerhead turtle is a frequent inhabitant of rugged areas, there are a lot of them in Herzegovina, although they are not so easy to see.
Is this over yet? I went out this morning to say a proper goodbye and hopefully capture something that can showcase how 2020 felt. I’m glad it’s fading away. Happy New Year everyone!
The vine snail is a species of invertebrate that taxonomically belongs to the mollusk genus (Molusca), the class of snails (Gastropoda), the subclass of lungworts (Pulmonata). It is widespread throughout Europe, and inhabits various areas throughout Croatia. The Latin name of the gastropod class comes from the ancient Greek words gastros (stomach) and podos (foot) [1] and refers to the fact that the “foot” of an animal is located below the abdomen.
