Is this over yet? I went out this morning to say a proper goodbye and hopefully capture something that can showcase how 2020 felt. I’m glad it’s fading away. Happy New Year everyone!

The vine snail is a species of invertebrate that taxonomically belongs to the mollusk genus (Molusca), the class of snails (Gastropoda), the subclass of lungworts (Pulmonata). It is widespread throughout Europe, and inhabits various areas throughout Croatia. The Latin name of the gastropod class comes from the ancient Greek words gastros (stomach) and podos (foot) [1] and refers to the fact that the “foot” of an animal is located below the abdomen.
Korana, before the city
Just before entering the city of Karlovac, the Korana slows down.
Calm and green-blue, it becomes a perfect mirror reflecting the winter sky above the town.
In this quiet space between nature and the city, the river still belongs only to itself — no rush, no noise, just water, sky and silence.

Korana prije grada
