Thistle may not be a weed to some or it may, but it is a beautiful flower and has many childhood memories of sticking to you and having sticky thistle pod fights with your siblings or friends, it does for me :) Here is my entry to this week's @spoonflower challenge called "In the weeds" - my entry Thistle Magic reflects these memories. It is always a bit hard to put such a giant animals like a whale in a repeat pattern whilst to make it look nice, so let's see if it will be a good outcome this time. The key message is that animals has their own place to live harmony together~

I found the animals with wings are just look elegant, duno why I will think like this way, but yet they are true in some way. This time I try to put this idea into my pattern art, with some suitable animals (yes, I found some of them let's say snake I just can't put a wing on it ;P) in the sky. So please enjoy, 'sky window display'~

When I watch others walk their pets in the park, I will just think what happen if the animals fly into the sky, will they be more enjoyable and feel good in a different world? Composed of a bit more fantasy elements here!

I was inspired to play along with the latest MFT Sketch Challenge. I changed it from landscape to portrait. I stamped and embossed the "congrats" multiple times on watercolor paper, die cut the heart shape and dragged it through watered down distress ink. The pink panel looked too plain without anything so I stamped the bg with the same watered down distress ink. TLF!
