First up, Please, these are here as freebies - please don't make copies to sell for profit. I promise Bad Toy Karma to any who do.
Anyhow, this is a small assortment of paperbacks from Baghead's bookshelves. Missing are the complete covers I found while Googling - instead these are either scans from my own collection or pieced together from various sources online (sometimes with a custom spine added) so they're ones you probably wouldn't find anywhere else.
Just download the original size file, print onto paper of your choice (it should fit onto a sheet of A4), cut out and glue around bits of card, wood etc.
They're designed to be printed out at 372dpi (giving an average paperback a height of 2.718 cm or just over an inch for the Imperial folk) probably not authentically scaled, but it should give a book that doesn't look too out of place in either a doll's dainty hand or a GI Joe's big mitt. If you want to change the size remember it's best to alter the dpi resolution you're printing at rather than the actual pixel by pixel size as that way there won't be any drastic degradation in image quality.

Since the kids are grown and gone ( or don't like having their pictures taken) My other favorite photography subjects (next to the dolls, lol) are our pups. I finally decided to keep an album on Flickr of some of my favorite photo's of them.
Been seing La Défense from distance, a fata morgana from the future so when this time did take the Metro line 1 there expected it all go away but was just as slick and burning chrome as it promised. A place George Lucas slick CGI rendered Star Wars space craft easily would be at home touching down on the big plaza between the high architecture.

Rachael Robinson Elmer (1878-1919) was an American impressionist postcard artist and book illustrator. She was artistically influenced by her art teacher, Childe Hassam. Her impeccable postcard artworks featuring different New York city scenes, became her best-known work, with “Art-lovers’ New York” as the most popular collection. Elmer illustrated with a pioneering impressionist artistic sense, the postcards are a reflection of how much she fell in love with the city from a very young age. We have digitally enhanced her magnificent postcard set and made them available to download for free under the CC0 license.

Multicolor illustrations of animals and sea creatures from Kunstformen der Natur (Art Forms of Nature) by German zoologist, naturalist, professor, and marine biologist, Ernst Haeckel (1843–1919), in full Ernst Heinrich Philipp August Haeckela. Haeckel was known for discovering and naming thousands of new species. Kunstformen der Natur was known for bridging the gap between science and art. We have digitally enhanced 100 marine lithographic prints of various organisms from his book. They are in high resolution printable quality and free to download under the CC0 license.

George Barbier (1882–1932) became one of the most renowned French Art Deco illustrators after his exhibition of ninety costume drawings at the Galerie Boutet de Monval in Paris. Being a distinguished artist of the Art Deco movement, he created fashion designs for several leading couturiers and fashion houses during the time. Barbier was widely acclaimed for the design of costumes, jewelry, wallpaper, and glasswork. His creations were published in famous magazines including Gazette du Bon Ton, La Vie Parisienne, and Vogue. Hiroaki Takahashi (1871-1945), also known as Shotei or Komei, was an illustrator, painter and woodblock printer from Tokyo. He learned the art of Nihonga, Japanese style painting, from his uncle Fuko Matsumoto during the early Taisho period. His works cover scenes from villages, shrines, and nature, most of them signed with a variety of his artist names. Shotei worked for the Shin Hanga publisher Shozaburo Watanabe. They created hundreds of woodblock prints together. Unfortunately they were destroyed in a fire during the Great Kanto earthquake. Despite the loss, Shotei continued to make woodblock prints until the end of his life. We have digitally enhanced his beautiful remaining public domain art into high resolution images. Prints of the majestic Mount Fuji, the Asakusa shrine, and Nikko nature, are free to download and use under the CC0 license.

Hand drawn flower illustrations by the "Audubon of Botany", Mary Vaux Walcott (1860–1940). Mary was a female American artist and naturalist known for her almost a thousand watercolors of North American wildflowers. She started experimenting with painting flowers at the age of eight. During her family summer trips to the Rocky Mountains of Canada, she developed her interest in botany and painting. Mary Vaux Walcott and her brother also studied mineralogy. Her success in painting a rare blooming mountain arnica encouraged her to concentrate on botanical illustrations. Mary Vaux Walcott also became an active mountain climber and photographer because she spent many years exploring the difficult terrain in the Canadian Rockies. As a remarkable botanist artist and an unconventional woman, she was elected as the president of the Society of Woman Geographers in 1933. We have digitally enhanced hundreds of her wildflower watercolor paintings into high resolution printable quality. They are free to download and use under the creative commons license.
