DIAL participated in the 2019 Information Communications Technology for Development (ICT4D) Conference, which brought together hundreds of public, private and civil society organizations, eager to share practical insights on applying digital technology to development, humanitarian, and conservation challenges.

 

DIAL had several sessions during the conference and presented on a range of topics ranging from the Digital Principles, open source to using mobile data for development.

I like this one because the light parts repeat causing rhythm.

The lay out of my subjects were spread evenly in the phtograph, and although they are different in shapes and sizes, there is unity in this photograph due to the fact that my subjects were all fruits, and that they remained to be all warm colours.

This "ofrenda" was made by the science's department (facultad de ciencias), hence the book. It was also very slightly less kitsch than the rest.

I took this image from a book about Frank Miller's art in the movie Sin City.

Definition: A repeating subject that does not distract the viewer's eye.

 

This photograph portrays repetition because of the patterns and symmetry of the roof. The roof of this chapel aligns and repeats in harmony that does not distract the viewer's eye.

1. Rythem because of the repeated keys.

 

2. The reflection in the keyboard adds to make more rythem.
