Chau Chau Kang Nilda - The picturesque mountain behind Langza village of Spiti region. Its name means - the princess mountain on which the sun & moon shine. This was taken a day after full moon at 10 PM in the night.
Princess (looking like a princess) is waiting patiently to begin our hike. Our friends lived on the top of the mountain and didn't have neighbors close by so we never bothered to lock our doors. Just before this photo was made, she had pryed open the sliding glass door and woke us up with her cold, wet nose to let us know that it was time for morning "din din" and a hike. She tickled us because at times she would proudly carry a good size rock for the whole hike. A sweet, sweet doggy and, despite her size, she was a BIG time "cuddle-poo."

There was 2 cruise ship coming this day to La Baie, so I had set up my alarm early enough to drive, hike and shoot sunrise vs ships BUT....I snooze 2 times, I was too tired, do not really matter...the ships did not stay long since there was stron winds, I did not set my tripod because it was so strong it would have blown away camere with tripod, I felt I was lifted 2-3 time by the wind gust.
It was really nice being out there looking at this view, who car about the wind....Ruby Princess
Cosplaying as the classic image of Princess Leia from A New Hope (Star Wars). This is the first time I cosplayed as her.
I've made the dress, the belt and painted the gun black. The gun is really Han Solo's gun. Leia should have Stormtrooper's gun.
The updo is a blend of my own hair and fake hair lengths mixed and rolled up and pinned with 100's of pins.
As I posed at a cinema so it was probably at some premiere, I think it was Attack of Clones so it must be 2002?
Of course I struck same pose as with the Mara picture. :P
As a total I've cosplayed about 5-6 times as Leia. About 4 times with the complicated hairdo. I think I went to both premieres (Attack of Clones and Revenge of the Sith) in this getup, as well as two conventions. And then some gatherings without the hairdo. The dress got dirty at the end, it is hard to keep a white garment clean, even with laundry detergent...

Some other celebrities who constantly invade my home are the Disney princesses. What could represent a princess better than a full twirl top? Of course, the top is long enough to be worn as a dress alone, but it was cuter to add the denim capris and applique a different princess on both sides of each leg. The golden crown appliqued to the bib of the top has sparkly rhinestones, and the buttons on the straps look like glass jewels.

A few weeks ago I posted a gorgeous photo of one of your fine ships - the Carribean Princess - sailing into a sunset, and offered all rights to that money-maker for only one free cruise. Then a week later I threw in a second shot for just a couple of balcony rooms for me and a few flickr friends. And oddly enough I've not heard a word from you. So here it is - my last shot. This photo will have people standing in line to sign up for a cruise. So all three photos for a quick around the world tour for a few flickrites. Such a deal!

Princess Place Estate
In 1791 the King of Spain offered a 1,100-acre land grant to Franciso Pellicer. Henry Mason Cutting purchased the property in 1886, renaming it to Cherokee Grove, Featuring local materials including tabby block cladding, cedar and palm tree trunk posts, and pink coquina. The Adirondack Camp-style lodge was constructed in 1887. The complex included servant’s quarters, a caretaker house, tennis courts, stables, bathhouse, pool house, and the first in-ground concrete swimming pool in Florida. The lodge became an entertainment center for many socially prominent American and New York families, as well as European royalty. Cuttings died in 1892, leaving a widow, Angela Mills cutting and two small children. Angela later married an exiled Russian Prince, Boris Scherbatoff, a member of the Russian royal family. Because he feared for his life, the Prince later changed the spelling to Scherbatow. After Prince Scherbatow died in 1940, the Princess used the lodge as her primary residence. For this reason, it became known as the Princess Estate. In 1954, Princess Scherbatow sold the property to Lewis and Angela Wadsworth, one of the founding families of Flagler County. Flagler County purchased the property in 1993 as a preserve.

Over the years this has been the spot for our-door weddings, celebrations, meetings, fishing, canoeing, hiking, retreats, and offers tent camping . Early morning visitors are often treated with sightings of deer, owls, alligators, horseback riders, armadillo, rabbits, bald eagles, feral pigs, and a collection of shore birds. Recently a covered bridge was added to the location to add to the peaceful ambience. Just a great place to enjoy nature, throw a fishing line, or unwind from a stressful week. Treat yourself like a Prince or Princess. Make a visit to Princess Place Estate.
