I had to send in a picture of me to Grasduinen, a dutch magazine about nature. I'll be having a portfolio in the may issue about nature and wildlife. Last weekend I made the pre-selections and I'm quite excited!

Komodo was laying there on the ground with and arrow threw the stomach. Oliver and I started to walk away. Another great days work! I thought to myself. That's when it happened. I didn't know this day could change my life. Out of no where an arrow came into Oliver's chest. He fell. Komodo was still on the ground unconscious behind him. So I didn't think Komodo could of done it.
"OLIVER!"

The weather in Scotland is very unpredictable, and can be extremely dramatic. When we set off to ascend 'The Pap' it was bright sunshine, only to see the tops of the mountains disappear behind the clouds as we ascended. As the clouds flew past at some speed in the choppy winds we were given previews of the much more dominating mountains in the area through the clouds. It created an incredible atmosphere as you'd stand unable to see anyone or anything in the clouds just to have these brief glimpses of other mountains towering overhead. By the time we were back on the valley floor we were back in glorious sunshine.
The image was taken on Sgorr a Cìche (The Pap of Glencoe) and features Cnap Glas through the clouds.
Seemingly the most recent acquisition by the Musee Aeronautique d' Orange is this Mirage 2000N no.349.
We arrived at the museum in the morning having got the opening hours wrong. we got this one through the fence, but toured the museum later in the day.

I've been caught up with work and a massive (imaginary) pile of photos to edit, but tonight I took a small break and worked on some personal stuff. I've finally managed to finalise my edits of a self portrait I shot back in March. The creative processes (read: creating weird combinations and odd cropping) will now start. I'm trying to find the courage to, at a later, unidentified date, time and place, publish this series. Until then, I give you mysterious sneak previews.

Today I took pictures of Azuka, and I think it's not too bad. I used my mother's camera, she bought a good one some days ago and it takes really nice pictures ! It's not even comparable to mine.
