First batch of pretzels came out perfect! Baking 2 recipes next time.
Pretzel in caramelized sugar with nuts
Caramelization (British English: also caramelisation) is the browning of sugar, a process used extensively in cooking for the resulting nutty flavor and brown color. As the process occurs, volatile chemicals are released, producing the characteristic caramel flavor.
Like the Maillard reaction, caramelization is a type of non-enzymatic browning. However, unlike the Maillard reaction, caramelization is pyrolysis, as opposed to reaction with amino acids.
When caramelization involves the disaccharide sucrose, it is broken down into the monosaccharides fructose and glucose.
you have no idea how many pretzels i had to eat to make this.
anyoone have any idea how i can do a better 'h'?
the mustard makes it feel like summer. Too bad these are small and crunchy; a big soft pretzel would provide a much needed fair/carnival atmosphere.
I was finally united with yeast after months of it being out of stock. I had planned on trying to make bread without a bread maker but this pretzel recipe caught my eye.
This is the best looking pretzel out of the bunch but I am sure it will just take practise twisting the dough.

The Royal Airforce Aerobatic team 'The Red Arrows' performed an absolute marvellous show towards the end of Dunsfolds Wings&Wheels 2017. I've never seen anything like this before. Fascinating formations, stunning precision. I highly recommend anyone to watch their show when there is a chance.
From my point of view this formation really looked like a pretzel. Don't you think so too?
Glazed with an egg wash just before baking into crunchy goodness. At least if you're following the standard recipe...who knows what the pretzel factories do.
I would love to tour the Southland
In a traveling minstrel show
Yes I'd love to tour the Southland
In a traveling minstrel show
Yes I'm dying to be a star and make them laugh
Sound just like a record on the phonograph
Those days are gone forever
Over a long time ago, oh yeah
I have never met Napoleon
But I plan to find the time
I have never met Napoleon
But I plan to find the time
'Cause he looks so fine upon that hill
They tell me he was lonely, he's lonely still
Those days are gone forever
Over a long time ago, oh yeah
I stepped up on the platform
The man gave me the news
He said, You must be joking son
Where did you get those shoes?
Where did you get those shoes?
Well, I've seen 'em on the TV, the movie show
They say the times are changing but I just don't know
These things are gone forever
Over a long time ago, oh yeah

During our Oktoberfest celebration, over 23,000 soft pretzels are consumed. That's a whole lotta' dough! Here, a worker unloads several racks of freshly-made soft pretzels from the Servatii Pastry delivery truck at this year's Oktoberfest Zinzinnati.
My interpretation of an old Bavarian town Oktoberfest.
I rarely do towns, so it's a nice break. If you notice, in addition to the CMF Lederhosen Guys and Pretzel Girls on the right, there are some custom versions of Oktoberfest Revelers from Minifigures.com. I just had to add some variety. They are photographed more upclose here.
