At the south end of Preston Station Platforms 3 and 4 are two canopies for shelter at the bays. They have been there as long as I can remember, but I have always found them interesting as the design looks "modern" (post WW1) yet they are built with wood supports.
The rolled section pillar is a bit of an eyesore, but no mor than the yellow bin

The Chicago Cultural Center contains the remains of a number of historical rooms. This is the ceiling of Preston Bradley Hall which is used for a variety of meeting and weekly classical music concerts. It is famed for the Tiffany dome!

Preston bus station in Lancashire UK. An example of Brutilism architecture and a grade 2 listed building.
Rotala Preston Bus: 40595 (V195 EBV) an East Lancs Lolyne bodied Dennis Trident, painted in cream, green and blue fleet livery. This vehicle is seen here in Preston Bus Station operating a journey on Service 35 to Tanterton.

Taken from a slide processed in February 1984 we have an evening shot of Class 85 85036 at Preston.
The loco was new from Doncaster Works as E3091 in September 1963 and also briefly carried the number 85110. Withdrawl was in October 1991 (must be one of the last) and cutting up at MC Metals in Springburn in October 1992.

Ok wasn't going to post more than one haybale shot this year but found this location near Preston Mill with the old Docoot and thought it was a bit different. Had to clone out some telegraph wires in this image.
Good news for me on the camera front as it is a write off for both lens and camera so don't need to wait for an estimate. As the lens hit the ground first it has twisted the body and mount.
