On May 25, 5th grade students from Las Colinas Elementary IB World School held their PYP (Primary Years Programme) Exhibition. Small groups of students collaborated on a historic project with the central them of "Where wea are in time and place." Each group gave presentations to visiting students, staff and parents using visual aids, props and PowerPoint presentations as they taught their audience about the impact of the event or invention they studied had on a certain time period and how it affects us today.

Kirk Niles of Aurora is the third and final winner of a redesigned 2007 Toyota Tundra Double Cab truck in the eleventh edition of the Nebraska Lottery’s $2 Truck$ & Buck$ Scratch game. Nebraska Lottery officials presented Niles with his prize on August 23 at Pump & Pantry 1304 Q St in Aurora.
